    🟣TONI TENNILLE | ENCORE!

Recorded: 22 September 2026 Released in full to REJ Platinum subscribers: 3 October 2026. Released on REJ Silver on 17 October 2026. Presenter: George Matlock, Executive Producer: Hezikor Kadouri Welcome to ENCORE! on REJ.World. FULL EPISODE: As we speed ever closer to the 50th anniversary of Elton John’s landmark double album Blue Moves on the 22 October, we are delighted to announce a very rare interview with singer, pianist and actress, Toni Tennille. Toni celebrates a 50th anniversary of her own, that of winning a Grammy award for a Neil Sedaka/Howard Greenfield penned song with her then husband Daryl Dragon, Love Will Keep Us Together. We will hear about her contribution to Elton songs like Don’t Let the Sun Go Down On Me, as well as four Blue Moves songs and later Elton collaborations like Dear God from 21 at 33. Toni talks about home life and candidly about her marriage to Daryl. And then there is that big admirer of hers, the former US Secretary of State, Henry Kissinger, whom she met (briefly) at the Bicentennial celebrations at the White House in the presence of HM Queen Elizabeth II, Duke of Edinburgh and Prime Minister Jim Callaghan on July 4th, 1976. Her act, Captain and Tennille were invited by President Gerald Ford and First Lady Betty Ford. Toni is as entertaining speaking as she is performing musically, and be prepared for a thrill-a-minute! Plus Pinner showcase their latest song Blue Moves, 1976. 🟡Neil's In The Mix | Paris

Elton has always been something of a Francophile, a lover of France, and has also scooped the country's biggest honour for a foreign national. We are crossing the Canale Le Manche to a city that has welcomed Elton with open arms, albeit in calmer times than street protests this week! Neil Barrett takes us on a trip to revisit Paris, this brilliant song from the 1986 Leather Jackets album. Neil will drill to the core of Paris and through the barricades! Check it out plus previous monthly episodes on Silver on REJ.World or the REJ APP, available now from eltonjohn.app . Available on the second Friday each month. 🟡Neil's In The Mix | There's Still Time For Me

After last month's Better Off Dead, we journey to the song that helps us understand it even better, with the 1968 Elton-Bernie song There's Still Time For Me, which was produced by Caleb Quaye, and which only saw light of day on the Jewel Box collection in 2020. Mercifully, there was still time for Elton and he went on to become one of the biggest starts in music!
