Movies Over My Hammy is a comedy podcast that dares to ask the hard questions: Is the Batman Calzony better than The Batman? Would you like to sit down in a theater and watch Beetlejuice Beetlejuice or would you rather take a seat at a diner and order the Beetlejuicy Burger? Each week Adam Quesnell and Andrew Santoro will answer the eternal marketing question, “Is the movie tie-in menu superior to the movie that it’s tied to?” And, in lieu of a tie in menu, how does this movie stack up to the Moons Over My Hammy sandwich from Denny’s?     Episode 46: Cheetos: Flavor of Fear x Obsession

    We kept breaking these Cheetos in half and wishing that you loved this podcast more than anything in the whole world but they were the puff kind and not the kind that look like a branch so we’re not sure if it worked. This week we tried the new and inexplicable Cheetos flavor created in collaboration with Blumhouse Productions and compared it to their recent box office hit, Obsession. Will the Cheetah best the Bear in a one on one battle?     I’ve been working tirelessly for years to try and gather all 7 Dragon Balls so that I could wish for a good description for this episode. Unfortunately I was only able to get my grubby little mits on 5 of them so you’ll have to settle for this episode description.     Episode 42: Papa Johns x Toy Story 5

    Imagine a world where every pizza that you order comes to life when you’re not looking at it. I think each pizza would have 8 sentient slices that would all laugh and play and talk about how much they want to be eaten one day. Whenever you’re not looking at the Slicelings they get sadder and sadder, waiting for the day that you’ll finally pay attention to them again. "If only kids these days weren’t so damn obsessed with screens they could focus on us and the eating of us, the Slicelings!”, you might say if you were one of them. Slicelings that are put into the fridge as “leftovers” become so depressed that they lose all flavor and life that they had left until one day they simply crust up and die. Also sometimes there’s pizza with a battery in it and those slices are evil because kids these days like the electric pizza slices. But also they’re not evil because they’re just like a regular slice of pizza but with a battery, they just want to be eaten! The line becomes further blurred when a familiar pizza slice that we all know and love, say pepperoni, comes back but he has a mobile hot spot in his pepperonis or something. Do we like this guy? The answer is unequivocally yes!  That’s kind of like what Toy Story 5 is like but with toys instead of pizza!     Episode 41: McDonald’s x Jujutsu Kaisen

    This week we joined Jujutsu High School and were tasked with eating the ten chicken fingers of some ancient evil cursed chicken. We also ate some stuff that wasn’t McDonald’s…pause for laughter… That’s right! This week we talked about the long passed JJK meal at McDonald’s and compared it to the anime as well as the currently running JJK meal at McDonald’s Saudi Arabia. Will the sauce drive a cursed nail into this anime? Or will the anime “Nah, I’d win” itself to the finish line? We also checked back in with a certain food reviewer to see what they thought about these new State Fair Oreo Flavors and asked the members of the JJK team how they prefer their french fries.
