    Hayom Yom The Tzemach Tzedek toiled for 30 years, and 32,000 hours in the Maamarim of the Alter Rebbe📖. This was one of the things that prepared Him for a conference in Petersburg (1843) with the Russian government👨‍⚖️. He learned the Alter Rebbe’s teachings from 1804-1834, and in 1834 began publishing📚 the Alter Rebbe’s Maamarim. Sefer Hamitzvos We have to separate Maaser (10%) from all kosher animals 🐄 that are born each year and we need to bring as a Karban🔥, the fat and blood 🩸 and eat the remainder in Yerushalayim.     HY: 👏 Clean hands + kosher environment when you put on Tzitzis. 🫴 If you couldn’t, make the Bracha during Shacharis. 🔘 If you are putting on a Tallis, make the Bracha on the Tallis (bigger garment), and have in mind the Tzitzis. SFH: 🩸Do cover the blood when you slaughter a bird or animal.

    HY: A Jew is a lamp. Container, oil, wick, fire. Your base is good. Your fire needs to be kindled. You do this by cracking into our habitual + cold parts. SFH: Do not eat meat from a not kosher animal. Do not eat meat from the limb of a living animal. Do not eat blood. Do not eat the fats of a kosher animal. Do not eat the sciatic nerve.

    HY: How do you purify the air? Learn and say Mishnayos by heart wherever you are. Mishna = Neshama = protection. SFH: Do not eat any insects, regardless of where they come from. Do not eat an animal that died. Do not eat the meat of an ox that was meant to be stoned.

    HY: The world is both the space we meet Gd intimately and the space that contains the possibility for sin. Gd gives us free choice so we have the opportunity to choose intimacy and not distance. SFH: Do not eat not kosher fish. Do not eat insects that fly - bees, hornets. Do not eat insects that crawl - worms, beetles. Do not eat insects that grow from something decomposing. Do not eat insects that grow inside fruit or seeds, this applies when you see it.
