    This episode, I needed to lean on my Big Show Family. I had to help Murphie, my almost 10 year old lab mix (her Birthday would have been 6/10), cross the 🌈 Rainbow Bridge. It's been a difficult week, day and night.     I didn't plan this episode to go this way.. it kind of built itself. I started reading your comments, question, and messages - and instead of just answering them, I realized they were leading me somewhere. This episode turns into a mix of listener thoughts, real-life stories, and few "Oh yah, that's actually true!" moments along the way. It's a little looser, more reflective mixed with some honesty, and a snapshot of the feedback I'm getting. Kinda thinking this stuff (good stuff) may be part of every episode.

    Episode 15 : A Re-Purposed Birthday Voicemail From The Past .. and A Week That Taught Me A Lot.

    This episode starts with a voicemail my nephew Miles left me when he was 3 - wishing me a Happy Birthday. I used it this week to wish his Mom a Happy 50th Birthday - and somehow that turned into a few more bday messages, including one from a listener. I took a CPR class Y'all and didn't expect how much I'd walk away thinking about - not just what to do, but how much awareness and courage it takes to help someone else. KUDOS to those who do it every day. It ended up being one of those weeks where small things stack up - Bonding with a dear friend, watching time move a little faster than I want, and noticing how everyday life keeps shifting in ways you don't always catch right away. AND ALWAYS Q&A with the best fans out there. And somehow.. it still includes me not being able to reach a drive-thru window. If having no routine IS your routine - this one's for you.
