Hello! My name is James Kerr, I'm a tattoo artist and I am here to talk about trauma and healing, spirituality and science, life and death. I will be doing solo chats as well as bringing on guests from the tattoo industry, my friends, family, clients, and coaches. People from all walks of life! My intention with this show is essentially to show that it is safe to tell our stories and every story is of tremendous importance. They connect us to each other, and these connections are what can start us on the path back to ourselves.

In this 6 part series, I have a very deep and emotional conversation with my sister Olivia, where we talk about everything that happened to us when we were children growing up in Hoopa, a Native American Reservation in very rural Northern California.     Tattooing and Mental Health | 2 of 2

    (Originally aired January 1, 2025) One of the questions I’ve been repeatedly asking tattoo artists on this podcast is what their journey to becoming a tattoo artist was like. In general, I hear a lot of stories of how “tattooing saved my life”. I’ve even seen shirts at tattoo conventions worn by tattoo artists that have that line printed on the front.
