[28] Are You Experiencing Life—or Just Interpreting It?

In this episode of The Noah Frequency, Noah challenges one of our most fundamental assumptions about the human experience: that what we believe is happening is necessarily what we're actually experiencing. According to Noah, essence experiences life. Identity interprets it. And those interpretations—shaped by our conditioning, memories, beliefs and expectations—can become so automatic that we mistake them for reality itself. This conversation explores: The difference between experiencing life and interpreting itWhy our conditioned identities often obscure the wisdom of essenceHow pausing before interpreting an experience can open the door to greater awarenessWhy spiritual seekers may already be connected to their essence without recognizing itHow even spiritual teachers and mediums can mistake their own interpretations for higher wisdomWhy questioning spiritual teachings may be an important part of spiritual growthAnd how trance mediumship may offer a different way of experiencing our own essenceAs Stephen challenges Noah about the role of identity in spiritual communication—including Noah's own communications through a trance medium—the discussion raises an intriguing question: How much of what we believe to be spiritual truth is direct experience, and how much is our interpretation of it? Perhaps awakening isn't about discovering something new. Perhaps it begins when we stop interpreting long enough to recognize what's already there.

[27] The Less You Ask, the More You Remember

In this episode of The Noah Frequency, Noah takes on one of humanity’s oldest questions: Who am I? For thousands of years, seekers have tried to answer that question. But Noah suggests there may be a paradox hidden inside the search itself: The less you ask, the more you remember. According to Noah, questions belong to the identity—the part of us experiencing life from a single human perspective. Essence does not need to ask who it is. It already knows. This conversation explores: Why searching for your essence can actually reinforce the feeling that it is separate from youThe difference between asking questions from identity and receiving from essenceWhy there is no spiritual destination or state of perfection to reachHow frustration, pleasure, pain and uncertainty are all experiences rather than measures of spiritual progressWhy essence is not an accessory you bring into your human lifeAnd what changes when you stop trying to find your essence and recognize that you already are itNoah isn’t suggesting that we stop asking questions. Questions can clarify the human experience. But perhaps the deepest answers arrive when the seeker becomes quiet enough to receive what was already known. The less you ask, the more you remember.

[26] You Don’t Have to Find Your Essence

In this episode of The Noah Frequency, Noah challenges a belief held by many spiritual seekers: That connecting with your essence requires special effort. According to Noah, your essence is not somewhere beyond you, waiting to be reached. It has participated in every moment of your life—even when you were afraid, uncertain, distracted, or unaware of its presence. This conversation explores: Why searching for essence can make it harder to recognizeHow identity turns spiritual connection into another taskWhy stillness exists even in the middle of chaosThe difference between receiving insight and questioning itHow pressure and imaginary timelines interfere with creativityAnd why words may be the least important part of genuine communicationAs Stephen discusses the struggle to write his screenplay, Noah offers a different way of approaching the work: allow essence to be the author—and let the identity become the observer. The connection is already there. The wisdom is already present. Perhaps the real challenge is not learning how to reach your essence—but becoming quiet enough to notice that it has been participating all along.

[25] The Truth Depends on Where You're Looking

In this episode of The Noah Frequency, Noah explores one of his most profound teachings yet: The truth doesn't change—but your perspective does. What appears to be a single life, a single path, and a single sequence of events is, according to Noah, only one way of perceiving a much larger reality. From the perspective of the human identity, life unfolds along one continuous trajectory. From the perspective of essence, that same trajectory contains countless possibilities existing simultaneously. Throughout the conversation, Noah explains:  Why your life feels linear—even if reality isn't  The difference between the truth of identity and the truth of essence  How perception shapes every experience  Why uncertainty isn't a flaw in the journey, but part of its design  And how trusting your intuition allows a deeper truth to emerge At the heart of this episode is a powerful reminder: Your perspective determines what you believe is possible. And sometimes, the greatest shift doesn't come from changing your life... It comes from changing where you're looking.

[24] The Separation Is an Illusion

In this episode of The Noah Frequency, Noah begins with a question that seems simple: Where, exactly, is the separation? If every thought, emotion, sensation, memory, and experience arises within awareness, then what is it that we believe separates us—from each other, from spirit, and from ourselves? Throughout the conversation, Noah returns to a theme that sits at the heart of his teachings: the difference between awareness and identity. This episode explores:  Why the human experience is conditioned to perceive separation  How identity creates the illusion of isolation  The relationship between awareness and consciousness  Why many seekers struggle to accept what they already know  The role of intentionality in spiritual growth  And how trusting awareness changes the way we see reality itself According to Noah, the deepest truths are often not hidden. They are simply obscured by the assumptions we've been taught to believe. What if the connection you've been seeking... has never been missing? What if the separation itself was the illusion?

[23] What If None of It Was an Accident?

In this episode of The Noah Frequency, Noah introduces a single idea—and follows it wherever it leads: What if everything is intentional? Not just the moments you celebrate. Not just the moments you understand. But the losses, delays, disappointments, relationships, doubts, and detours as well. As the conversation unfolds, Noah challenges listeners to consider a radically different perspective: that life is not happening to you, but for the evolution of your essence. This episode explores:  Why the identity resists the idea of intentionality  How difficult experiences may serve a larger purpose  The relationship between uncertainty and intuition  Why seekers often interfere with their own clarity  The difference between remembering and controlling  And what changes when you stop asking “Why is this happening?” and begin asking “What is this showing me?” According to Noah, the more we interfere, the less we remember. The more we trust, the more we see. And perhaps the greatest shift comes when we realize that even the experiences we would never have chosen... may have arrived with purpose.

[22] Stop Seeing People as Their Identity

In this episode of The Noah Frequency, Noah begins with a simple observation: A heavy heart is not the problem. The story we create about it is. As the discussion unfolds, Noah challenges the tendency to interpret every emotion through the lens of identity—assigning meaning, blame, fear, and certainty to experiences that may be something far simpler and far deeper. According to Noah, even emotions we resist most—grief, confusion, disappointment, and pain—are not separate from love. They are love viewed through a different lens. This conversation explores:  Why emotions feel so convincing  How identity creates narratives around pain  The difference between experiencing an emotion and interpreting it  Why love may be the foundation beneath every feeling  And how returning to essence changes our relationship with suffering Sometimes the greatest source of pain is not what happened. It's the story we keep telling ourselves about what happened. And sometimes freedom begins the moment that story loosens its grip.

In this episode of The Noah Frequency, Noah begins with a simple observation: A heavy heart is not the problem. The story we create about it is.
