Todd Sees UFO Murder, True Crime Parasites, Whitley Strieber and the Process Church of the Final Judgement

Spooky season has arrived, and the fellas begin with a look at Whitley Strieber's short story "Pain," which surprisingly foretells a great deal about where his thoughts about the Visitors would go after Communion and may even hint at possible connections to the Process Church of Final Judgment. After that, we get into the meat of the story: the case of Todd Sees, a man supposedly murdered by a UFO. It turns out that true crime podcasters and UFOlogists may be the real monsters in this case. We go through the newspaper clippings, UFO reports, the police files, and even speak directly with a new source on the case. As always, it's a deep dive into strange characters who remind us these stories are about real, complex people.  However, there is one odd wrinkle at the end. Sometimes the pieces just don't all fit. Dr Fred Bell - UFOs, Nazi Fist Fights, and Magic Jewelry

Imagine if Indiana Jones were contacted by aliens, reincarnated from Atlantis, and a scientific genius. That would get you close to the claims of "Dr." Fred Bell. In this episode, we walk through The Promise, Brad Steiger's biography of the man. Inside, Nazi assassins are thwarted with quick-thinking karate moves, women swoon, and necklaces hold alien nuclear powers. You may be skeptical of this man's winding journey through multiple lifetimes, but if Jesse "The Body" Ventura believed it, who are we to argue? Mormon Bigfoot - An LDS Explanation for Sasquatch and LBJ's Giant Hog

America's monster through the lens of America's homegrown religion. We've discussed the Mormon drive to cram religious doctrine into American pseudoarchaeology, and now we uncover a distinctly LDS take on cryptozoology. Along the way, we learn how the architect of The Great Society was packin' and that instead of beloved nature protector, Bigfoot may actually be coming for your soul.   Dr. Klint Kanopka, our resident scientician, leads us through the archives of LDS history and sightings of a fur-covered stranger out west. How does Bigfoot play into the desire to view America as a piece of land with unique religious meaning?   Available on Apple Podcasts here   Available on Spotify here   RSS feed available here   Follow us on Instagram @ceasetoexistpod   Contact us at ceasetoexistpod@gmail.com

Burrows Cave - Archaeological Fraud, Ancient Reptilians, Neo-Nazis, and Stolen Valor

The episode Kyle most feared! A look at the Burrows Cave mystery. Was it just a fraud to con old people into buying fake artifacts? Or was it a cover for looting genuine indigenous artifacts? Does it prove the Book of Mormon? Was this man kissed by a ghost and shot at by Uzi-wielding thugs? These and many more mysteries abound in the tale of Burrows Cave.   The ideas are strange, but as usual, the characters are even stranger. Learn why "just because you have one good idea doesn't mean you have two" has become the mantra of the show as we explore a fantastic yarn and one of the wildest hoaxes ever perpetrated.   Available on Apple Podcasts here   Available on Spotify here   RSS feed available here   Follow us on Instagram @ceasetoexistpod   Contact us at ceasetoexistpod@gmail.com

Fred Crisman - UFOs, JFK, The Shaver Mystery, and Various Scams

In our longest, deepest dive yet, we look into that slippery character Fred Crisman. Somewhat like a cross between Grandpa Simpson and Forrest Gump, Crisman was there for it all - the first recovery of UFO metamaterials, implicated in the assassination of JFK, a witness to the strange Deros of The Shaver Mystery, and involved in a litany of "bunko schemes."   While we will go through the more familiar points of Crisman's story, this episode dives deep into his FBI file and period newspaper articles, connecting the dots as much as possible on this bizarre individual who would later be fictionalized on the series Twin Peaks. Come along for utter madness as we provide the rest of the story often missed when looking at Crisman from just one angle, revealing one of the strangest characters ever to enter UFOlogy and conspiracy lore.   Available on Apple Podcasts here   Available on Spotify here   RSS feed available here   Follow us on Instagram @ceasetoexistpod   Contact us at ceasetoexistpod@gmail.com   Image Credit: public domain

    Bleakly World News

Kyle decided we should share the forbidden, nightmarish content of our group chat, running through the news links we've shared lately. Enjoy a voyeuristic thrill as we discuss the current events keeping us up at night, either horrified by this dystopian future or laughing uncontrollably.   You'll find surrogate carried billionaire organ harvesting flesh sacks, intriguing background on the Waffle House teleporter, and the ever present specter of UFO disclosure. Come along for a rare journey into the scariest place of all: the present.   Available on Apple Podcasts here   Available on Spotify here   RSS feed available here   Follow us on Instagram @ceasetoexistpod   Contact us at ceasetoexistpod@gmail.com   Image Credit: public domain

    Frank Joseph

The episode that broke Klint and Ryan! Frank Joseph is an alternate-history theorist who dives into topics like Atlantis and Lemuria. It may sound like run-of-the-mill stuff, but the man behind this prolific output of books and magazines is another matter entirely.   Prepare for squirrels on rafts at the Creation Museum, aquatic apes, Supreme Court battles, and too speechless co-hosts who just don't know what to say to Kyle's big reveal. The Gemstone File

Our most epic deep dive yet! The Gemstone File is a mysterious, shadowy document passed around among conspiracy researchers, college students, and other fringe characters. It reveals deep secrets of the JFK assassination, Watergate, and world domination by…Aristotle Onassis? Along the way, there are artificial gemstones traded for world secrets, jungle karate action, and a nefarious rewriting of the Bible.   Join us as we make sense of where these ideas came from, how they got into the hands of the conspiracy research community, and dig up some insider information on how the sausage is made at tabloid newspapers. From the lost art of eccentric paper handouts to dangerous pet-collecting weirdos, this one has it all.   Available on Apple Podcasts here   Available on Spotify here   RSS feed available here   Follow us on Instagram @ceasetoexistpod   Contact us at ceasetoexistpod@gmail.com   Image Credit: Newspapers.com/The San Francisco Examiner
