Whether it's workshops for high school graduates to learn soft skills like writing professional emails, or handing out clothes to dress for success, Mija Yes You Can has made an impact all over the Sun City.  . Have you ever seen cars on the side of the road marked with an "H" in a circle? Those cars have been marked by the TX DOT HERO Program, a FREE roadside assistance program. . Amber Banda interviews Lauren Macias-Cervantes, TX DOT Public Information Officer, and Martin Morales, HERO Program Manager and former law enforcement. They talk about what type of roadside assistance is offered FREE of charge to stranded drivers, including help changing your tires, putting air in tires, drinking water, battery charges, and help towing your vehicle to the nearest safe place or help with moving drivers off of dangerous areas. . The TX DOT HERO Program also helps law enforcement with clearing incidents on major highways and severe weather responses. Remember, when you see an accident or someone on the shoulder, MOVE OVER OR SLOW DOWN, it's the law. . The biker men and women of Diligentz are on a mission to help children in need. Amber Banda interviews Manny "Big Monkey" Acosta, Sargeant at Arms, and Terry "Luna," Lady of Diligentz auxiliary member. Learn about their mission and how they are intergrated not only in the biker community with the El Paso Motorcycle Coalition but community organizations as well. .     Segment 1: Salvation Army in El Paso, TX . Did you know that a majority of the bell ringers you see at the Salvation Army Red Buckets are volunteers, or that volunteers bring in more donations than paid ringers? . Amber Banda interviews Joanna Estrada, Director of Development for the Salvation Army. Listen to learn about what they do and who they help, and more importantly, how YOU can help this holiday season! . Signing up is super easy. Learn what the community wants most out of this trail, where current parts of the trail are located, and what the future holds for this PDN "hike and bike." . The Texas Transportation Commission just approved more than $31 million in Transportation Alternatives which will help fund 2 major segment of the trail, giving more access major destinations in El Paso including the El Paso Zoo, Magoffin Home, Fox Plaza, and more. . In addition to giving more pedestrian accessibility, Jana and Amber also talk about the benefits of this unified, multi-use trail across EP County including walking outdoors, creating more events, and you also get some behind the scenes as to how this trail all comes together. .     EPPF 12-7-25 Wreaths Across America and El Paso Pro Musica with Felipa Solis

    Segment 1: Wreaths Across America, not just a Christmas Wreath! . Hosted by the Civil Air Patrol, El Paso Composite Squadron, Wreaths Across America is back! A time honored tradition of purchasing wreaths that will be placed by loved ones or volunteers on headstones at Ft. Bliss Cemetery, and you can be a part of it. . Amber Banda interviews Bonnie Torres, Location Coordinator for Wreaths Across American at Ft. Bliss. They discuss how it began, what this tradition means and who it is meant for, and you will get detailed information about event day. Become a part of the tradition of honoring our military and their families at the Ft. Bliss Cemetery! . 10am will be opening Ceremonies, followed by placement of the wreaths.Trucks with wreaths, with a motorcycle escort, will arrive at Ft. Bliss cemetery around 7:30am. Wreaths can be purchaed on location for $17, (cash preferred), but with limited quantities.You are welcome to watch or volunteer.     EPPF 11-25-25 Candlelighters with Survivors MC & Light the World Giving Machines

    Segment 1: Candlelighters and Survivors Motorcycle Club . Candlelighters of El Paso helps children and their families who have been affected by cancer. They help financially, emotionaly, and give support in many ways, especially around the holidays. . Amber Banda interviews Melissa-Atkins-Wardy, CEO of Candlelighters El Paso, and Survivor's lady DeeDee on their upcoming 4th Annual Candlelighters Toy Run. The event will be Saturday December 13th and is open to all motorcycles and vehicles. Bring an unwrapped toy to 9300 Acer at 10:30am. the parade will start at 11:30 and go from 9300 Acer to 9031 Viscount, (the multi-purpose center) where the kids will be waitin to see all the bikes and vehicles!
