https://www.podbean.com/eas/pb-64x4g-1af20e7 We are not burying our heads in the sand to deny Depression or PTSD. We choose not to bury our heads in the sands of the past to deny Depression and PTSD. We choose affirmative action to stay fully present in the present, this gift from God. We see that what happened in the past happened to our inner child; they were the victim of their trauma We sit in the present hour, in the here and now, and their trauma isn't happening to the person we are today, and therefore it is not ours to suffer or process today. Our meaning and purpose are not to be found in our inner child's victimhood of their trauma. Our meaning and purpose can only be found in our own lifetime in this hour right now. Being fully present in this moment in time, free from the bondage of the past and the fear of the unknown future, is where we find our meaning and purpose in life. When we see the truth of this and embrace it, we keep depression and ptsd at bay. Be Still & Know I AM God Be still means to be present, to commit to being fully focused on life in this present hour, right now. In this case, cast out your demons, tell the voices in your head that undermine and ridicule you and me, to feck off for this one hour. Know I AM reaffirms that your place in life right now is to be fully focused on being present in this moment in time. It's a call to action. refrain from using the past or future tenses for this one hour, you are only to make I AM statements, and they all have to be about being alive, present, and a part of life, family, friends, community, and society for this I AM one hour. God understand, for this period of time, you have been worshipping the False God of Depression or PTSD, and that False God only offers hopelessness, despair, depression, loneliness, more stress, more rejection, more isolation, leading you further into the dark pit of that nest of vipers. But choose the god that offers you, even you, miracles in this moment, and you find yourself filling up with hope, joy, tolerance, patience, empathy, kindness, willingness, you find the courage to climb out of that pit of darkness, to throw open the curtains of your mind or your bedroom and let the light in. Only you can do this for yourself, but you can share this with others. There might be a person in your contacts worse off than you; they might be in a social group or support group, putting on a brave face, ready to give up, and you share this with them, and you save them. How good would that feel? You, at your lowest, making a difference, saving lives. Nothing happens by chance I believe God put me in your path so that you could save a life, yours or another's. #healinganytraumamemory #traumarecoveryanonymous appointments@traumarecoveryanonymous.com
