For musicians, September can feel like a second New Year. A new season begins, calendars fill up again, projects restart and it can be a useful moment to zoom out and ask whether the way we are working still reflects the career and life we actually want. Sometimes the signs are obvious. But sometimes, on paper, everything looks good: there are concerts, work is coming in, perhaps the money is fine and yet something still feels wrong. The episode looks at questions such as: • What if the work you are doing no longer brings the same joy or meaning? • What if you are working constantly but the financial side still does not add up? • What if you keep saying yes to opportunities and then immediately regret it? • What if the career you have built no longer feels aligned with what you want now? • And how do you make changes when you have already invested years of time, energy, and identity into your current path?
