Purpose In The Pain

Tony & Sonoma Adkins

Your pain was never meant to be the end of your story.Hosted by Tony & Sonoma Adkins, Purpose in the Pain is a faith-based podcast for anyone who has ever wondered if their struggle has meaning—and if healing is actually possible. Through honest conversations and real-life stories, Tony and Sonoma explore what it means to find purpose in the middle of hardship, hold onto hope when everything feels broken, and share the testimony that someone else might be waiting to hear. "We have to focus on the purpose but we live in the promise." Each episode features guests who have walked through their own valleys—church hurt, divorce, addiction, loss, and more—and found hope and redemption on the other side. No perfect stories. No easy answers. Just Christ followers getting honest about the mess and the meaning hidden inside it. Because the enemy wants you to keep your pain a secret. He wants you isolated, pressed down, and silent. This podcast exists to break that silence. You might be closer to your breakthrough than you realize. Sometimes you've been leaning against the answer all along. New episodes released weekly.🎧 Listen on Spotify & Apple Podcasts📺 Watch on YouTube, Facebook & Rumble

SEASON ONE FINALE — Purpose in the Pain

When we started this, we really didn’t know what we were doing. There were audio problems. Video problems. Technical problems. Unexpected setbacks. Schedules changed. Life happened. And somewhere in the middle of all of it, God kept reminding us: Don’t despise the small beginnings. Be faithful with what He has put in front of you. This season was never about numbers. It was about creating a place where people could tell the truth about what they had walked through and testify about what God had done — and what He is still doing. We watched guests come in nervous and guarded and leave having found another piece of their voice. We heard stories of addiction, grief, trauma, restoration, friendship, marriage, child loss, forgiveness, faith, ministry, and learning how to keep moving when life hurts. And we learned something ourselves: Sometimes purpose doesn’t look like a huge platform. Sometimes it looks like one person reaching out for prayer. One neighbor finding the courage to knock on the door. One testimony helping somebody realize they aren’t alone. One conversation that goes deeper than we normally allow ourselves to go. If that is what God used this season to accomplish, then every bit of it was worth it. To every guest who trusted us with your story: thank you. To everyone who watched, listened, shared, prayed, encouraged us, or sent a message: thank you. To everyone who helped us behind the scenes: thank you. And most importantly, thank You, God, for trusting us with this. Season One may be ending, but Purpose in the Pain is not. We’re moving forward into Season Two with the same prayer: Lord, let this become what You want it to be — not what we want it to be. Thank you for walking through Season One with us. We’ll see you in Season Two. ❤️ ▶️ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@purposepain ▶️ Rumble: https://rumble.com/user/purposepain 🎵 Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/purpose-in-the-pain/id1866616325 🎵 Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/2cqi1YmIAdLJfc6asLaFQU ▶️ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/painpupos3/ ▶️ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/purposepain/ ▶️ TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@purpose_pain 💬 What conversation or moment from Season One stayed with you the most?
