    Welcome to Hand to Sky: Can we talk? | Experiment 01

    Welcome to Hand to Sky—a mother and daughter podcast centered on real conversations, shared wisdom, and creating space for kids to be heard. In Experiment 01, we introduce ourselves—Dynasty (you can call me D-Y) and my 9-year-old daughter Sky—and share a few fun facts, a little about our family dynamic, and what brought this podcast to life. We talk about what “the game” means to both of us, why this podcast is meant to be an open and safe space, and why allowing children to have a voice matters—at home and beyond. We also touch on gentle parenting, what it looks like in real life, and the importance of learning how to speak up for yourself with confidence and respect. This first episode is our starting point—Experiment 01—where we begin learning out loud, talking honestly, and setting the tone for what’s to come.
