Menopause, Aging and the Crone: Finding Your Power

Is becoming a crone something to dread, or could it be one of the most freeing experiences in a woman's life? The word crone has long been associated with old age, witches, and unflattering stereotypes about older women. But there's another way of understanding it, one that celebrates wisdom, experience, independence, and a different relationship with ourselves and the world. In this episode, Tiffany and Karen explore the maiden, mother, and crone stages of life and what it means to move between them. We share our personal experiences of menopause, changing bodies, shifting priorities, and the sometimes rocky transition into a new identity. We also discuss the surprising freedom of no longer needing to impress everyone, why older women can be wonderful role models, how creativity and sexuality continue throughout life, and whether these changes reflect a deeper shift in our energy. It's a thoughtful, personal, and occasionally funny conversation about getting older, letting go, and discovering that the next chapter might have a lot more to offer than we expected. 🎧 Listen and connect with us: Website: https://www.lmepodcast.com/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@LMEPodcast Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/lme.podcast/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/LMEpod TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@lifemadeeasierpodcast 💛 Join our Patreon community for additional episode content, Energy Experiments, Journal Reflections, and Pocket Wisdom. https://www.patreon.com/LifeMadeEasierPodcast

Equine-Assisted Therapy: How Horses Help Us Heal

A horse walks away from you. What happens next might tell you far more about yourself than it tells you about the horse. Do you assume it doesn't like you? Feel rejected? Wonder what you did wrong? Or simply let it go? That is part of what makes equine-assisted therapy so interesting. In this episode, Tiffany turns the questions over to Karen, a clinical psychologist, energy practitioner and lifelong horsewoman, to explore what actually happens when therapy moves out of the consulting room and into a field full of horses. They talk about why horses can be such extraordinary creatures to work alongside. They are highly responsive to what is happening around them, but they are not worrying about being polite, protecting your feelings or giving you the response you hoped for. Their reactions can give us a very immediate opportunity to notice our own. The conversation moves through nervous system regulation, emotional honesty, rejection, personal space, consent, power, boundaries and the difference between talking about what we feel and actually noticing it in the body. Karen also explains why she prefers working with horses who are loose and able to choose whether or not to participate. The horse isn't there to fix you, heal you or obediently complete an exercise. Sometimes it comes closer. Sometimes it leaves. Sometimes it carries on eating grass. And all of it can become part of the work. No horse experience required. 🌐 https://www.lmepodcast.com/ 💜 https://www.patreon.com/LifeMadeEasierPodcast 📘 https://www.facebook.com/LMEpod 📸 https://www.instagram.com/lme.podcast/ 🎵 https://www.tiktok.com/@lifemadeeasierpodcast ▶️ https://www.youtube.com/@LMEPodcast

Can Animals Feel Your Energy? What Dogs & Horses Really Sense

Can animals sense our energy? And how much of what they pick up comes from energy, smell, body language, emotion, or all of those things working together? In this episode of Life Made Easier, Tiffany Hunter, PhD and Karen Janes, DClinPsy explore the fascinating ways animals experience and respond to the world around them. From dogs and horses to parrots, spiders, lizards and wild animals, we look at how different species may perceive energy, why animals can seem so tuned in to our emotional state, and why their experience of the world may be very different from ours. We also talk about the close energetic relationship between humans and dogs, the extraordinary sensitivity of horses, the challenges of separating energy from other sensory information, and what animals might teach us about becoming more aware of the environment around us. This is a curious, practical and often funny conversation about animal energy, communication, awareness and the relationships we share with the other species in our lives. 🌐 Website: https://www.lmepodcast.com/ 💛 Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/LifeMadeEasierPodcast ▶️ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@LMEPodcast 📘 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/LMEpod 📸 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/lme.podcast/ 🎵 TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@lifemadeeasierpodcast Life Made Easier explores subtle energy, emotions, healing and awareness, with practical conversations about how understanding energy can help in everyday life.

Why Do Some Places Feel Different? Energy, Travel and Grounding

Have you ever arrived somewhere new and felt strangely off, unsettled, lighter, heavier, or just different, even when everything around you seemed perfectly fine? In this episode of Life Made Easier, Tiffany and Karen explore why different places can feel energetically different, and why travel can sometimes leave you feeling ungrounded in ways that have nothing to do with jet lag. Inspired by Karen's recent trip to Italy, they compare experiences in Italy, England, Wales, California and Florida, looking at how landscape, geography, water, cities and the people who live in a place may all contribute to how an environment feels. They also explore why grounding isn't necessarily the same everywhere. Sometimes sinking deeply into the earth feels right. Somewhere else, you may need to spread out, connect differently, or simply slow down and notice what your body is telling you. You'll also hear practical ideas for grounding while traveling, including what changes when you're on a plane, in a car, on a boat or moving over water. This episode is an invitation to experiment. Instead of assuming there is one "correct" way to ground yourself, notice how different places affect you and learn how to adjust. 🎧 Find Life Made Easier: Website: https://www.lmepodcast.com/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@LMEPodcast Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/lme.podcast/ TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@lifemadeeasierpodcast Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/LMEpod 💛 Want to go deeper?
