what can actually happen in a year

back again with my second ever video episode, teehee! earlier last month I read a piece I wrote back in April of 2025 and, to my surprise, I could no longer relate to the feelings past Mila was grappling with. that took me down a beautiful journey of realising not only how different my life has turned out, but also how my relationship to myself and sense of self trust has changed and blossomed as well! as always, I had so much fun recording and can only hope you find this episode inspiring and are able to take something positive away from my story 3 x Mila things mentioned: The Story of Art without Men by Katy Hessel How To Live An Artful Life by Katy Hessel The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron it'll mean so much to me if you consider subscribing, liking, commenting and activating notifications! 🫶🏻 find me elsewhere: Instagram Substack Party of One is available on Youtube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts and Amazon Music!

you build trust by taking leaps of faith

a short and sweet episode one today in an attempt to stick to schedule instead of letting perfectionism take the best of me. born from the connections I made between three quotes: "What did you do as a child that made the hours pass like minutes? Herein lies the key to your earthly pursuits." (Carl Jung?) "I repeat: the only reason you are not doing what you want is because there's a part of you who doesn't believe in the part that does" "if something is worth doing, it is worth doing it half ass" xxx Mila

attention is the beginning of devotion

hiii, happy new year!!! 3 this ep was recorded in early December and is very much stream of consciousness, which means I open many tabs as I go, but I promise everything gets tied together with a pretty bow in the end! it was past midnight when I recorded it as well, so my energy is a bit all over the place... calmer than my usual self at times, sleepy voice here and there, but nothing that takes away from the insights and ideas I pulled together here. hope you like it!!! kinda wished I had published this sooner, but while editing I realised it is a good beginning of the year ep on gratitude, feeling lucky and the power we have to devote our attention to that which fills us with life! I'm on insta @milaaras Party of One is also on Substack and maybe soon on YouTube? xoxo
