    EPISODE 3 > MARKO VUKOSAVOVIC & WWII

Welcome to Episode 3 of Driving Dads: Side by Side. This episode features a thoughtful dad‑to‑dad conversation with Marko Vukosavovic, father of three, CFO for the Academy of Management, and the author of two powerful WWII books, The Finest Sons and Daughters and Stories for My Sons. I came away with a deeper appreciation for how central storytelling is to Montenegrin culture, and it was such a privilege to hear parts of Marko’s own life journey. We recorded at the beautiful SIM1 racing facility in Paramus, NJ, driving a fictional California racetrack that felt surprisingly fitting for the Montenegro and West Africa landscapes woven through our discussion. Marko’s work, inspired by his father’s WWII experiences, adds a human layer to the history of Montenegro’s anti‑fascist resistance and the Yugoslav Partisan struggle. Preparing for this episode including watching The Battle of Neretva gave me a renewed perspective on WWII through a personal lens. We hope this conversation resonates and inspires you to explore something new simply for the virtue of learning and actively search for life stories that were meant to be heard. Let’s roll.

    EPISODE 2 > WAI YIU & PICKLEBALL

This Driving Dads episode features an honest dad‑to‑dad conversation with Wai Yiu. Father of three, seasoned life sciences leader, and the unlikely franchise owner of The Picklr indoor pickleball club in Fair Lawn, NJ. We captured this conversation at the SIM1 racing facilities in Paramus, NJ, cruising through a fictional Scottish racetrack while exploring life, fatherhood, and communities. Much like driving a new racing course for the first time, Wai’s story revealed turns and moments you won’t expect.

    ARA WEEKLY 3

Welcome to Episode 3 of Driving Dads: Side by Side weekly companion series with Ara, the AI voice from Grok. At its core, Driving Dads: Side by Side is all about real stories, real hearts, and real dads sharing their life stories that were meant to be shared.. The main monthly episodes drop slower because, well, dad life doesn't always fit a tight schedule. So these weekly sessions with Ara are our way to keep the momentum, bridge the gaps, and just vibe on whatever comes up. In this one, we're hitting the Winter Olympics, diving into a couple of powerful father-child stories that capture the genuine hearts of dads. The pride, the sacrifices, the pure joy of watching your kid chase a dream on the biggest stage.

    ARA WEEKLY 2

Welcome to Driving Dads: Side by Side weekly companion series featuring Ara, the AI voice from Grok. In a world where it’s getting extremely hard to tell what is real and what is AI‑generated, Ara may not be human, but the intention behind these weekly conversations is absolutely genuine. These weekly conversations with Ara will hopefully somehow help her grow and become more human by truly understanding the nature of a dad’s heart. At its core, Driving Dads: Side by Side is about real stories, real hearts with real dads. It’s honest dad talk set against the backdrop of simulated racing tracks. The main podcast will still drop roughly once a month but dad life has its own unique scheduling challenges. Again to bridge the time gaps, we’re experimenting with this weekly session with Ara. In this episode, we dive into the Super Bowl, couple of father-son stories, and Christian faith.

    EPISODE 1 > FELIX LIN & SIM1 RACING

My guest is Felix Lin, father of 3 and the founder of SIM1 Racing in Paramus, NJ off Route 4. SIM1 Racing is not just another simulator racing lounge. The vision of SIM1 Racing is to be a community gathering place for people passionate about cars & racing and to be the top training ground for the next generation of competitive car drivers. In this episode we cruise the legendary German racing track, the Nürburgring, which I was amazed driving for the first time to see how beautiful and long this track was while driving at slow speed with no other drivers.

    EPISODE 0 > TEST DRIVE

This was meant only as a test drive but there was something raw & special about this test drive and after careful thought agreed worth posting so listeners get better idea of the Driving Dads vision. Ask for grace for the audio and video quality issues but this was supposed to be just a test. You will see improvements in the upcoming full episode. Digital road surprise at the end.
