Additionally, he has integrated the hippocampal system into his studies, examining its role in reinforcement learning associated with addictive behaviors. Currently, Dr. Kelea dedicates most of his time to clinical research and providing comprehensive educational services to individuals diagnosed with pervasive neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly within the autism spectrum. Alongside these primary pursuits, he engages in two part-time roles. As a neurodiagnostician, he conducts Nerve Conduction and Electromyography studies, with a focus on patients experiencing neuropathic pain stemming from conditions such as diabetes, drug abuse, or nerve/spinal injuries. Dr. Kelea serves as a faculty member at the University of Phoenix, Bay Area Campus.
