    In this episode of Worth & Purpose, I talk honestly about marriage and the power of words how what we say, and how we say it, can either strengthen a relationship or quietly create distance. I explore how being careless with words in marriage while being kind and encouraging everywhere else can open emotional doors that were never meant to be opened. We talk about how words can make us feel successful, confident, and validated, but also how they can hide truth, twist reality, and slowly damage trust at home. I share a personal moment of godly advice that reshaped how I see strength as a woman not as control or self-elevation, but as a responsibility to build, encourage, and uplift my husband.     Thank You God, For Dad

    In this special and deeply personal episode of Worth & Purpose, I’m joined by my husband, Brandon Crotchett, as we remember and honor his dad our Dad Crotchett. A year ago today, he went home to be with the Lord. As we mark this day, we reflect on how God used his life in ways that continue to shape us. From the quiet strength of his faith to the way he loved his family, we share how the Lord used Dad Crotchett not only to impact those around him, but also to guide and strengthen our marriage. There were conversations, prayers, and moments where God used him as an instrument of wisdom, encouragement, and unity for us as husband and wife. The title of this episode was inspired by a simple yet powerful moment, finding the children’s book “Thank You, God, for Daddy” which opened the door to tears, gratitude, and remembrance. While grief is present, so is hope. We hold onto the promise that through Christ, this goodbye is not forever, and one day, we will see him again.     Waiting Isn’t Empty

    In this episode of  Worth and Purpose, I share a moment that stayed with me, one of those quiet reminders that God is always working, even when everything feels still. A few weeks ago, I heard a message about Peter going back to fishing while waiting for Jesus to appear again. That story shifted the way I see waiting seasons and faithfulness in the ordinary. Sometimes, God’s will isn’t loud or dramatic sometimes it’s found in simply doing what we already know how to do while we wait. That lesson came full circle when I met someone unexpected at work. Mr. Bill. A simple conversation turned into a powerful reminder about love, time, grief, service, and what truly matters in life. From a pink hat, a photo on the wall, and a 56-year love story, God gently showed me how purpose can be found in the quiet moments we often overlook.
