    Pastor Luis Guzman - "Let God Sort Them Out"

    “Let God Sort Them Out,” taken from Matthew 13:24–30 in the New Living Translation. Through the parable of the wheat and the weeds, Jesus reminds us that the enemy may sow confusion among God’s people, but the Lord Himself will separate the righteous from the wicked in His appointed time. Our calling is not to walk in bitterness, judgment, or revenge, but to remain faithful, holy, and full of the love of Christ while God works all things according to His perfect will. As we continue in Matthew 18:12–14, we see the heart of the Good Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to seek the one that is lost. Heaven rejoices over every soul that repents and returns to the Father. The Word of God in Proverbs also gives us divine wisdom for daily living. Proverbs 26:11 warns us not to return to foolish ways like a dog returning to its vomit. Proverbs 17:22 teaches that “a cheerful heart is good medicine,” while Proverbs 19:19 reminds us about the danger of uncontrolled anger. Proverbs 15:3 declares that the eyes of the Lord are everywhere, watching both the evil and the good. Nothing escapes the sight of Almighty God. Through 1 Corinthians 15:3, we are reminded of the foundation of our faith: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures. And in Matthew 28:16–20, Jesus gives the Great Commission, commanding His disciples to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Prepare your heart for a Holy Spirit-filled word that will encourage you to trust God’s justice, walk in forgiveness, remain faithful in difficult seasons, and allow the Lord of the harvest to separate and judge in His perfect timing.

    Day Of Preparation (Part 2)

    In this powerful teaching, Pastor Luis explains the deeper meaning behind one of the most important questions in the Christian faith: Why did Jesus die on the cross? Not just that He died but why the cross was necessary in God’s perfect plan. From the very beginning in Genesis, sin entered through a tree in the Garden of Eden. Adam and Eve took the fruit with their hands, and in that moment, humanity fell under the curse of sin. But God, in His perfect plan, chose another tree the cross—to reverse that very curse. Every part of Jesus’ suffering speaks. His hands were pierced, representing the very hands that took what God had forbidden. His feet were pierced, pointing to the promise in Genesis that the seed of the woman would crush the serpent’s head victory over sin and Satan. His side was pierced, reminding us that just as Eve came from Adam’s side, Christ made atonement not just for one, but for all humanity, male and female alike. And the crown of thorns placed on His head was not by accident. Thorns were the sign of the curse spoken over the earth after the fall: “thorns and thistles it shall bring forth.” Yet Jesus wore that crown, showing that He took the curse upon Himself so we could walk in freedom. This message connects the Old Testament to the New in a powerful way, revealing that the cross was not the end it was the fulfillment of God’s redemptive plan from the very beginning.
