    When I was thinking about archiving my mag collection on TikTok I found other collectors as I got going. One of the first creators I remember salivating over was 90s Mags and More.     EPISODE NOTES This is quite a surreal moment for me. I’ve been inspired by Valerie Phillips’ work since I picked up a NYLON magazine in the early 00s. It was a dream to be able to talk with her about shooting during the peak of fashion magazine culture. We get into her start on music video sets, how she worked with some of the best during the start of NYLON, and how she self published her own work which led to international publisher and her latest book, Candy Cat Head (out soon).     A New Chapter

    I've been into magazines for what seems like most of my life. I started archiving and sharing my own collection back in 2022 but I want to expand and take it even further.
