Sara Stevenson is a host of this podcast. Sara has travelled widely around the world in a range of contexts. She has a BED in Education and Religion, an MSc in Philosophy, Science and Religion and is currently studying a second masters degree in War Studies. Sara has a wide range of interests including Travel, Philosophy, Sports and is studying broadly to understand Peacebuilding.  Tara Van Der Vliet is an occasional host of this podcast. Tara is a hospital pharmacist in Australia, and has worked in a range of contexts from hospitals to charity's to educational teams in the UK and Australia. Tara has also travelled widely and in a range of contexts. Tara is particularly interested in big picture thinking and how practical things can come together to improve efficiency within medical and charitable work. Tara has a lot of interests but nothing gives her as much joy as travelling on her next adventure!

    Studying War. What is going on?

    Paul McCabe, a former colleague of Sara's, joins The World and Me in today's episode. This is so that he can engage questions with Sara around what it's like to study war, whether wars of choice are moral, to reflect on current wars as well as the rise of Christian nationalism. War is an applied ethical issue and the various problems that are entangled within current conflicts are most relevant for our Series 1 question addressing human moral values.
