    I Am: The Good Shepherd

We throw the word good around all the time—a "good" meal, a "good" day, or someone who is just morally "decent." But when Jesus says, "I am the Good Shepherd," He means something far deeper, richer, and more beautiful. In this episode, we dive into John 10 and Psalm 23 to unpack what it really looks like to follow Jesus as our Shepherd. By examining the original biblical meaning of "good" (kalos—noble, beautiful, and winsome), we discover a Savior who doesn't manage us like a hired hand, but one who knows us by name, guards us with His life, and whose kindness leads us into true life and freedom. We also tackle the reality of anxiety and dark valleys. Sheep can’t manufacture their own peace—their rest depends entirely on the physical presence of the shepherd. In the same way, true spiritual peace isn't found in a detour around hard seasons, but in the undeniable presence of the Shepherd walking right beside us through them. Whether you're feeling weary, navigating an uncertain valley, or simply needing a reminder of God's gentle care, tune in to discover why you can rest securely under the watchful eye of the Good Shepherd. I AM: The Door

Welcome to today's episode as we dive into what it really means when Jesus calls Himself "the Door" in John 10. We're exploring how entering the Kingdom of God isn't about coming however we want, but about swinging open our lives through genuine repentance, belief, and baptism. Together, we'll unpack how to leave our old mindsets at the door and trade intellectual agreement for dynamic, active faith. You'll hear practical conversations about what total surrender looks like and how to practically die to self in your everyday life. Tune in to discover how taking that next step of surrender can lead you into the abundant life Jesus promises! I AM: The Light of the World

It’s easy to settle for artificial light—popular advice, self-reliance, or cultural wisdom that sounds reasonable on the surface but leaves us operating in spiritual darkness. In this episode, we dive into John 8:12 to unpack Jesus’ bold declaration in the Temple courts: “I am the light of the world”. Just like the warning flame in an old coal mine, worldly counsel can deceive us into thinking everything is fine while quietly draining our spiritual vitality. True clarity isn’t found in self-help formulas or religious systems; the Light is not a what, but a Who. Tune in as we explore how to step out of worldly compromise, filter every decision through Kingdom truth, and stay close to the only Light that brings real life. I AM: The Bread of Life

What are you really hungry for? In a world that constantly promises more—more success, more comfort, more answers—Jesus makes a bold declaration: “I am the bread of life.” In this message, we look at the difference between chasing what God can give us and truly knowing the One who gives it. If you’ve been waiting for a breakthrough, searching for freedom, or feeling spiritually empty, this is an invitation to come back to the source. Jesus is not just the answer to our needs—He is enough. On Mission: The Right View of God

Church of the Hills Turns 2!! Your view of God determines your decisions, and your decisions ultimately determine your outcomes. In this episode, we dive into Matthew 25 to show how seeing God as harsh or impossible to please paralyzes us into burying our gifts. Rather than living in toxic anxiety, Scripture calls us to understand both God’s unconditional love as a Father and His holiness as King. A healthy, reverent fear of the Lord does not cause us to cower; instead, it establishes divine boundaries and provides the true security we need to take bold risks for His Kingdom. Tune in to trade the paralyzing fear of failure for a holy reverence that empowers you to live fully on mission. On Mission: Invest In The Mission

In this message, we unpack Acts 4:32–33 and Matthew 6:24–33 to address stewardship as a matter of the heart rather than just money. We discuss why Jesus spoke so frequently about finances and how prolonged hesitation in our giving reflects an ongoing struggle to fully trust and surrender to God. Finally, we examine how radical, Spirit-led generosity directly fuels the mission, showing that kingdom vision requires provision to see lives changed and souls saved. On Mission: Heart and Soul

In this episode, titled "On Mission: Heart and Soul," we dive deep into Acts 4:32-33 to explore what it truly means for believers to be of one heart and one soul, moving away from individualism toward genuine community. We challenge the idea of the isolated Christian by comparing our role in the church to a single Lego piece that only makes sense within the context of the whole build. The conversation breaks down why there are no unimportant parts in the body of Christ, noting that Christianity is like tennis—you will never be great until you learn to serve. Finally, we unpack the concept of choosing "towels over titles," examining the practical difference between just greeting people and actually meeting them where they are, because ultimately, saved people serve people.
