Ep1…The Grief That Got Us Here…

This episode is all about… Getting to know each other… How we find ourselves here… My amazing husband Simon… My hope that we can all grow with grief, change the conversation of mental health and choose happiness. (BTW the spooky door opening was one of my cats!) 💚💚💚 Thank you for tuning into ‘Widowhood Made Me Happier.’ Whatever brought you here, you are very welcome and please never lose sight of the fact we can grow with our grief, protect mental health and PERFORM at our best and sharing our stories is an important part of this. I was no stranger to grief having lost my Dad to cancer when I was 16 in 1994 and my brother in 2014… but this round of grief I was determined to choose happiness; to allow my emotions to co-exist and lean into my values of kindness, growth and freedom to help other people to grow with their grief, protect their mental health and PERFORM at their best. Being vulnerable and brave enough to share my experiences, combined with my knowledge as a coaching positive psychologist, is a huge part of this… and that’s where you find me now… sharing, speaking, writing and coaching others. Please never hesitate to drop me a message to share or ask for help and resources. I’ll help you as best I can ❤️
