DIGGER & VERITY REVIEW: One Was INCREDIBLE… The Other Was Just Okay

In today’s episode of Newbie Critics, Mitchell gives his thoughts on two very different movies: Digger and Verity!First up is Digger, which completely blew me away. The cinematography, score, sound, storytelling, performances, and overall experience made this one of my favorite movies of the year. I even think it could be one of the best films of the decade. Then we talk about Verity, the psychological thriller based on the popular book. While I thought there were some really interesting and twisted ideas throughout the movie, I had some problems with the pacing, characters, and the way the story handled its psychological elements. SPOILERS FOR BOTH MOVIES!Which movie did you enjoy more?Let us know your thoughts in the comments!Newbie Critics — Movies, TV & Anime#NewbieCritics #Digger #Verity #MovieReview #MovieReviews #Movies #Film #Movies2026 #HotTakes
