I've just realised I don't want anyone getting ready with me... your wedding morning debrief!

Welcome back to The Aisle Diaries Podcast, your weekly wedding planning catch-up that feels more like a proper chat over tea than a to-do list you didn’t ask for. This week, Joella and Sophie are talking about the morning of your wedding, what actually happens, what you need to organise beforehand, and how to make sure those precious few hours feel exciting rather than completely chaotic. From what you should have sorted weeks before the wedding, to steaming dresses, organising your wedding morning boxes, planning hair and makeup timings, making sure your suppliers can actually find you, and getting everyone into the right chair at the right time… they cover it all. They also get into the things couples often forget about, including: ✨ Why you should be finished with the DIY jobs well before wedding week ✨ How to organise your wedding details into labelled boxes ✨ Why your hair and makeup schedule needs a bit of breathing room ✨ Who should actually be awake in the morning ✨ Why bridesmaids need to take responsibility rather than bombarding the bride with questions ✨ What NOT to do the night before your wedding ✨ Why you really should eat on your wedding morning ✨ What to put in your emergency kit ✨ How to prepare your flat lay details for your photographer ✨ Why you shouldn't be steaming your dress five minutes before you put it on ✨ Making time for TikToks, photos and content if you want them ✨ And why taking five quiet minutes to yourself before walking down the aisle might be one of the best things you do all day Plus, they share some real wedding morning disasters and supplier experiences, including getting-ready locations that are impossible to find, suppliers struggling to get access, and one very frustrating moment where a bride's planned first look was missed. So if you're getting married soon, save this episode for your final few weeks of planning. And if you've already had your wedding day, see how many of these things you actually did! Because your wedding morning doesn't have to be chaos. A little preparation can make a massive difference. Life behind the scenes as a wedding supplier

Welcome back to The Aisle Diaries Podcast. Your weekly wedding planning catch-up that feels more like a deep chat over tea than a to-do list you didn’t ask for. This week, Sophie and Joella are doing something a little different: just a proper catch-up. From Joella’s very eventful hen weekend, complete with Mr & Mrs, a naked man painting, bottomless brunch, Dream Boys and an AI hen-do game, to Sophie’s 30th birthday, their very busy wedding season and everything happening behind the scenes, this episode is basically like sitting down with the girls for a good old gossip. But, as always with The Aisle Diaries, the conversation gets real. Sophie opens up about losing her grandad, the pressure of carrying on working when life feels anything but normal, and something she hasn’t spoken publicly about before, her and Ethan’s journey trying for a baby. The girls talk honestly about grief, fertility, the pressure women face around having children, and why asking someone “when are you having kids?” can be far more loaded than you realise. It’s vulnerable, emotional and very real, but still filled with the laughs, chaos and honest conversations you know and love. And, because no episode of The Aisle Diaries would be complete without one, they finish with another Bridal Spiral: should you have to invite your fiancé’s friends’ partners to your wedding when you’ve never even met them? So grab a brew, settle in and join Sophie and Joella for a very honest catch-up. Your wedding-day timeline can be whatever you want it to be!

Welcome back to The Aisle Diaries Podcast. Your weekly wedding planning catch-up that feels more like a deep chat over tea than a to-do list you didn’t ask for. In this episode, Joella and Sophie are throwing the traditional wedding timeline out the window and asking the question: who actually decided your wedding day had to happen in that order? From 2pm ceremonies and wedding breakfasts to speeches, first dances and cake cutting, they chat about the wedding traditions and timings you really don’t have to follow. Want a sunset ceremony? A late dinner? Pizza at 10pm? A legal ceremony with just your parents before having a bigger celebrant-led ceremony with all your guests? Apparently, you absolutely can. There’s also some very honest chat about speeches (including one best man who somehow managed to turn a 10-minute speech into a 30-minute situation), why suppliers need to be considered when planning your timings, and the benefits of letting your bridal party actually have a lie-in on the morning of your wedding. Plus, the girls answer a listener dilemma about a 4pm ceremony, fire through some wedding timeline quick-fire questions, and finish with one seriously outrageous proposal story involving a once-in-a-lifetime European holiday and possibly the worst proposal location imaginable. The takeaway? It’s your wedding. You can do whatever the f**k you want. So, if you’re planning your wedding and finding yourself wondering “but does it actually have to be done like that?” this episode is for you.
