On this Sept 11th, we remember 25 years later those who were lost, gave all they could, and saved so many as New York City was under attack and rose from the ashes. To commemorate this 9/11 here on That Screening, we have a special episode about a New York staple on Restaurant Row for nearly 30 years, Swing 46. Founded in 1997, the club served as a long running beacon of the retro swing movement and music. On this episode of That Screening, I sit in the guest chair across the zoom landscape with special guest host Skip Shea discussing one of the few screenings in the club's history and a homecoming for my short documentary about the club, community, music, and more SWING 46: THE LAST SWINGIN SUPPER CLUB. We discuss the origins of the doc and how I became connected to Swing 46.
