    When You Have Nothing to Give, Give It Anyway SDET #21

    Sometimes the greatest act of faith is simply showing up. Reading from Isaiah 40:29-31, Deborah reflects on God’s promise to strengthen the weary and renew those who place their Hope in Him. She also shares a prayer from her journal over the 23 countries across six continents listening, thanking God for His faithfulness and asking for His blessing, peace, and strength over every nation represented. A simple reminder that when you have nothing to give, God is still able to meet you there. Additional scripture: Isaiah 41:10

    Faith Was Never Meant to Be Safe. SDET #15

    “Faith is not meant to be safe??” What is she even talking about? That is a question that the host, Deborah, was asked after a previous episode. To clarify, your faith is secure! Your foundation in God does not change. The question is how we live out that faith. It is not about being comfortable and cozy, but about surrender. It is about giving up control and trusting God, even when things don’t feel steady. A perfect example is about Peter in Matthew 14:26-32. The storm did not stop, but Peter stepped out anyway. In this episode, Deborah also shares an encouragement that was sent to her, in hopes that it blesses you too.

    Don’t judge the joy. SDET #14

    In this episode, Deborah reflects on perspective, healing, and the importance of not judging what you do not understand. After a few weeks of shorter episodes because of allergies, she shares a humbling moment, an encounter that stayed with her, and how easy it is to see someone’s joy without knowing the depth of what they’ve walked through. Reading Psalm 23 and reminding us of Jehovah Rohi, The Lord is our Shepherd, & Isaiah 54:2 - a reminder to extend grace, seek understanding, and step forward in faith even when it feels uncomfortable.
