    Theresa Ann Bier: Vanished in Yosemite

    On the morning of June 1, 1987, 16-year-old Theresa Ann Bier left her uncle's home in Fresno, California, dressed for school. Instead, she went on a camping trip with a 43-year-old friend of her uncle's in the Sierra Nevada Mountains to search for Bigfoot. When the man resurfaced in Fresno days later without Theresa, he said she had wandered off into the woods. He then offered an account stranger than anyone expected. Detectives found holes in his story almost immediately, but after a few attempts to comb the rugged wilderness, no trace of Theresa was ever recovered. Without a body, prosecutors could never bring him to trial. Nearly four decades later, authorities still suspect Theresa was murdered, and no one knows exactly how or why.     Asha Kreimer: The Restroom at Rollerville

    On the morning of September 21, 2015, 26-year-old Asha Kreimer sat down for breakfast at the Rollerville Café near Point Arena, California, with her boyfriend and a friend. She had been awake for five days, was in the grip of a mental health crisis, and had just been released following a psychiatric evaluation. But sometime around 11:00 that morning, she got up to use the restroom and never came back. Her jacket was later found on a trail leading toward the Point Arena Lighthouse.     On the afternoon of August 12th, 2013, 25-year-old Tiffany Daniels clocked out of work seventeen minutes early, crossed the bridge from Pensacola to Santa Rosa Island, and was never seen again. Her car was found eight days later on the west end of the island, unlocked, with her ID and phone still inside. No note. No witnesses. No trace of where she went after she parked. The last electronic record of her is a toll camera capturing her car crossing the Pensacola Bay Bridge at 7:51 PM. The police have never found evidence of foul play.     Amy Lynn Bradley: Lost at Sea

    On the morning of March 24, 1998, 23-year-old Amy Lynn Bradley vanished from a Royal Caribbean cruise ship as it was approaching Curaçao. She had been dancing with her brother the night before and was last seen relaxin on her cabin balcony at dawn. Then she was simply gone. Two passengers claimed to see her in a glass elevator with a crew member, shortly after she left her cabin. But that man was never formally named a suspect in her case. In the years since, alleged sightings have surfaced across the Caribbean, including photographs some believe show Amy alive. Jurisdictional confusion, maritime gray areas, and a family that has never stopped looking define one of the most infuriating disappearances in modern history.     Tammy Lynn Leppert: The Starlet Who Knew Too Much

    On a sunny afternoon in July 1983, eighteen-year-old model and aspiring actress Tammy Lynn Leppert called goodbye to her mother, got into a car with a friend, and was never seen again. In the months before she vanished, she'd been telling people that she'd seen something she shouldn't have and that someone was going to kill her for it. She never said what. The friend who drove her said they argued, he pulled over, she got out in Cocoa Beach, and that was that. She made several phone calls from somewhere nearby, then went silent. The investigation went nowhere. Two anonymous tips came in years later claiming Tammy was alive and studying nursing. But her mother spent twelve years looking for her and died without answers.
