Episode 36 - Is This The End?

Are we living in the end times? And if we are, how close are we to the return of Jesus? In this episode of The Photo Album Podcast, Nate and Deanna dive into one of the most fascinating topics in the Bible: the end times and what Scripture says about the final days. From wars, natural disasters, and the rebuilding of Israel to the mark of the beast, artificial intelligence, global currency, and the spread of the Gospel, we discuss some of the biblical prophecies that have us wondering whether we're witnessing the beginning of the end. We also talk about the rapture, the possibility of a great revival, the ongoing interest in finding Noah's Ark, and even why some people believe 2033 could be a significant year. We're certainly not Bible scholars or experts in end-times prophecy, but we're two people who love discussing God's Word, asking questions, and trying to understand what it means for our lives today. And while some of these topics can sound frightening, there's one important reminder we keep coming back to: Jesus tells us not to panic. We don't know the day or the hour, and we don't need to. As Christians, our hope isn't in knowing exactly when the world will end. Our hope is in knowing Jesus Christ, sharing His love with others, and trusting in the promise of eternal life. If you haven't put your faith in Jesus, there's no better time than right now. Episode 35 - Self Worth Starts at Home

How do we raise daughters who know their worth in a world that will constantly try to define it for them? ❤️ As parents of three girls, Deanna and I know that our daughters are growing up faster than we'd like, and eventually, the opinions of the world will start to influence how they see themselves. In this episode of The Photo Album, we're having an honest conversation about self-worth, parenting, and raising daughters who know where their true value comes from. We talk about the pressures our girls may face as they grow up, the role we play as parents in building their confidence, and why we want them to understand that their worth isn't based on their appearance, accomplishments, or the approval of others. Most importantly, we discuss how our faith in Jesus shapes the way we want to raise our children, showing them the same love, grace, and compassion that God has shown us. We don't have all the answers. We're learning as we go, but our prayer is that our girls grow up knowing who they are in Christ and never forget how deeply they are loved. If you're a parent, we'd love to hear from you! What are some things you've done to help your children develop a healthy sense of self-worth? Share your thoughts and experiences in the comments! 🎙️ Watch the full episode on YouTube or listen on Spotify. Thanks for being part of The Photo Album, where we're documenting our family, our faith, and the moments we don't want to forget. #ThePhotoAlbum #ChristianParenting

Episode 34 - Build Up, Don't Tear Down

Are you building your spouse up or tearing them down? In this episode of The Photo Album Podcast, Nate and Deanna sit down to talk about something that can quietly damage a marriage: how we speak about our spouse when they're not around—and how we treat them when they are. From venting to friends and bonding over complaints to sarcastic jokes, public criticism, and interrupting your spouse in front of others, we discuss how our words and actions can shape the way others see our spouse and how we see them ourselves. Marriage isn't about pretending your spouse is perfect. It's about choosing to love, respect, and protect one another, even when things aren't perfect behind closed doors. We talk about the importance of seeking wise counsel when we're struggling, working through disagreements together, and intentionally speaking life into our marriages instead of tearing each other down. Our spouses deserve to know that we're on their team, whether they're in the room or not. Join us for an honest conversation about marriage, communication, respect, and what it means to honor the commitment we made to one another. We'll also share some practical ways to strengthen your marriage and look at what the Bible teaches us about loving our spouses well. 💬 Join the conversation! How do you and your spouse build each other up instead of tearing each other down? Leave us a comment—we'd love to hear from you! Thanks for being here, and welcome to The Photo Album Podcast, where we talk about family, faith, marriage, and raising kids while documenting the life we're living along the way. #ThePhotoAlbum #Marriage

Episode 29 - More Like Christ

Would someone see Jesus if they followed you around for 24 hours? That question stopped us in our tracks—and it became the starting point for this episode of The Photo Album Podcast. We’re having an honest conversation about what it looks like to reflect Christ in our everyday lives. Not just at church or when we’re intentionally trying to be “good Christians,” but in the small, ordinary interactions that make up our days. We talk about stepping outside of our comfort zones, making the first move when it comes to meeting people, getting more involved in our communities, building relationships with our neighbors, and being more intentional about the way we interact with people at church and at our kids’ school. We also talk about something that hits a little closer to home: our kids are watching us. The way we treat people, the way we respond to others, and whether or not we’re willing to step outside of ourselves can teach them far more than anything we simply tell them. And through it all, we keep coming back to one question: Are we living in a way that reflects Jesus—even when nobody is watching? We certainly don’t have it all figured out. In fact, this conversation left us realizing there are plenty of areas where *we* need to do better. But maybe that’s the point. Following Christ means continually asking how we can grow, serve, love others, and make sure our lives actually reflect what we say we believe. Join us for an honest conversation about faith, family, community, and what it means to practice the presence of God in everyday life.
