    When The Glory Departed

What happens when the Church keeps the traditions… but loses the presence of God? In the powerful Season 2 finale of Keepers of the Light, Dylan Burcham delivers a sobering and passionate message from 1 Samuel 4 centered on the birth of Ichabod, whose name means, “The glory is departed.” Israel still had the priests. They still had the Ark of the Covenant. They still had worship, rituals, and religious activity—but they had lost the very thing that set them apart: the presence of God. This episode is a heartfelt call for believers to move beyond routine religion and return to a life marked by prayer, holiness, repentance, and a genuine hunger for God’s presence. Through powerful biblical teaching and practical application, you’ll be challenged to ask a life-changing question: If God’s presence was no longer evident in my life, would I even notice? 🔥 Featured Scriptures include: 1 Samuel 4:1–22Judges 16:20Exodus 33:152 Chronicles 7:14James 4:8As Season 2 comes to a close, this isn’t just a message—it’s an invitation. An invitation to seek God with fresh passion, to rekindle the fire of His Spirit, and to pursue His presence above everything else. 🎧 Listen now to “When the Glory Departed” and join us for a powerful conclusion to Season 2 of Keepers of the Light. The Elder Brother

What if the greatest danger isn’t running away from God… but staying close to Him without ever knowing His heart? In Episode 11 of Season 2 of Keepers of the Light, Dylan Burcham takes a fresh look at one of Jesus’ most well-known parables by focusing on the often-overlooked character: the elder brother. While the younger brother’s rebellion is easy to recognize, the elder brother reveals a different kind of lostness—one marked by pride, comparison, self-righteousness, and a heart that struggled to celebrate grace. Through this powerful teaching from Luke 15, listeners are challenged to examine whether they’ve been living in the Father’s house while drifting from the Father’s heart. With biblical insight, practical application, and heartfelt encouragement, this episode is a call to reject comparison, embrace humility, and rejoice when God’s grace transforms lives. 🔥 Featured Scriptures include: Luke 15:11–32Luke 15:28–32Romans 3:23James 4:6Philippians 2:3–5Whether you’ve identified more with the prodigal son or the elder brother, this message is a reminder that God isn’t simply inviting us into His house—He’s inviting us into His heart. 🎧 Listen now to “The Elder Brother” and discover the freedom that comes from laying down pride, embracing grace, and living with the compassion of the Father. The Coat, The Pit, and The Palace

Have you ever wondered why God allows seasons of betrayal, disappointment, and delay? In Episode 10 of Season 2 of Keepers of the Light, Dylan Burcham explores the incredible journey of Joseph—a young man who went from wearing a coat of promise, to sitting in a pit of betrayal, to standing in a palace of purpose. Joseph’s story reminds us that God’s promises are often fulfilled through a process we don’t understand. The pit wasn’t the end of Joseph’s story—it was the beginning of God’s preparation. Every betrayal, every setback, and every season of waiting became part of God’s plan to position him for something greater. Through powerful biblical teaching, moving illustrations, and practical application, this episode encourages anyone who feels forgotten, wounded, or stuck in a season that doesn’t make sense. 🔥 Featured Scriptures include: Genesis 37Genesis 39:21Genesis 41Genesis 50:20Romans 8:28No matter what pit you find yourself in today, remember this: your current season is not your final destination. As the disciples struggled against contrary winds and exhausting circumstances, they felt alone, forgotten, and afraid. Yet Scripture reveals that Jesus saw them the entire time.
