This marks their fifth city launch, and for the first time, the cars are running without a safety monitor on board. Tesla for the Blind?: Elon Musk stated that Robotaxis must meet the needs of the blind. No More Brake Pedals?: The NHTSA is planning to remove the brake pedal requirement on autonomous vehicles by changing FMVSS No. 135. Severe Driver Safety Alerts: We cover two horrific incidents, including a Delaware Lyft driver who was carjacked at gunpoint and robbed of his vehicle by three masked suspects. Wisk Aero Whistleblower Lawsuit: A former employee is suing the Boeing-backed eVTOL startup.
