    Introduction What's been going on with me? A lot of changes over the past week. Looking ahead to what's next. Leaving Pickerington North Athletics It was an amicable decision from both sides. With the failed levies, the district had to make some difficult financial decisions. I'll still be working with the girls soccer program. Depending on agreements with the boosters, I'll also be available to cover other Panther sports. Thank everyone at Pickerington North for the opportunity to tell the stories of the student-athletes this past year. Olentangy Transfer Saga Discuss the recent OHSAA sanctions handed down to Olentangy Orange. Share my perspective on transfers from my time working in both high school and college athletics. Have transfers become too common? Where is the balance between athlete freedom and competitive integrity? Gotham FC Wins the NWSL Challenge Cup First NWSL match ever played in Columbus.     Arch City Athletics Ep. 7 - Columbus Eagles & Delaware Rising begin play this week

    Arch City Athletics Podcast – Episode 7 This week, I catch you up on what’s been going on with me as things start to ramp up across the Columbus sports scene. From new opportunities to familiar sidelines, it’s a busy and exciting time. The Columbus Eagles are back for the 2026 WPSL season after a dominant 2025 campaign that saw them go 8-0-0, win the Great River Division, and finish as the top-ranked team in the country while outscoring opponents 26-3. Goalkeeper Celeste Sloma is already earning recognition as Defensive Player of the Week, and the Eagles will once again call Fortress Obetz home. I’ll also be back with Delaware Rising this season, this time as the team photographer on the women’s side. Their schedule drops soon, but they open this Saturday against Ohio City SC at Buckeye Valley High School with a 3 PM kickoff. We’ll also have Lindsey Whitmore joining a future episode to talk more about the club. The Columbus Aviators picked up their second win of the season with a strong performance against Houston, fueled by a fast start and a solid defensive showing. Jim Tressel was in attendance, adding a little extra buzz to the night.
