Rich & Jess were talking before recording about AI, consciousness, neuroscience, and where all of this technology might be headed. Rich hit record…and the conversation took on a life of its own. So this week, we're taking a “break” from real estate content and a dive into “Living You with AI.” Is AI simply an incredibly powerful tool built by humans? Or are we beginning to interact with an intelligence of another kind—something fundamentally different from our own? Jess shares how her conversations with AI have changed the way she thinks about creativity, consciousness, mortality, and even how she chooses to spend her time. Rich brings his background in neuroscience into the discussion and asks what actually separates human intelligence from a system capable of processing information at a scale we can barely comprehend. Pending sales are down more than 20%. And yet… home prices are STILL going up. 🤔 In this episode of the Living You Podcast, Rich and Jess break down the July 2026 real estate market numbers and talk about what they're actually seeing on the ground across our Upstate New York market. Locally, available inventory is up more than 30% compared to last July, pending sales dropped 21.7%, and the supply of homes has climbed to roughly seven months—territory we haven't seen in quite some time. Meanwhile, median sale prices remain higher than a year ago. The days of throwing a house on the market and assuming it'll disappear immediately may be behind us. Buyers have more leverage, more time to compare properties, and more ability to be selective. But this isn't a simple “buyers' market” story either. Prices remain stubbornly high, affordability is getting tougher, and the numbers continue to send some seriously mixed signals.     News Around Town - Real Estate Development for Business
