Let’s Talk: The Essential Guide to Being Human

I act as a bridge between the material world and the spiritual dimensions, tuning in to guides, loved ones, or a consciousness that most people can't perceive. Episode 35: Let’s talk about the effects of energy.

Have you ever noticed how your energy changes the way you feel, act, and connect? Energy lives in everything - every thought, every interaction, every moment. When your thoughts turn heavy or negative, you can feel that weight immediately. But when your energy is rooted in kindness, faith, or something that feeds your soul, it becomes lighter, clearer, and far more supportive. That awareness is the first step toward understanding how your energy shapes your life. Positive energy shows up as joy, contentment, and excitement, while negative energy feels exhausting and limiting. Shifting from one to the other isn’t always easy, but it is possible. Gratitude, reflection, and choosing to focus on what is good can help convert heaviness into something more manageable. Even remembering moments of joy can begin to change your internal charge. As you cultivate more positive energy, you influence the world around you. Your clarity becomes contagious, your lightness becomes grounding, and the universe responds in kind. Choosing positive energy isn’t just good for you. It’s part of how we collectively make things better. Notice how negative and positive energy feels. Learn to shift toward what feeds your soul and creates a positive charge. Understand how to use gratitude to redirect negativity. Choose positivity intentionally and see how your energy influences the universe. OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: On a day when you feel out of sorts, spend 10 to 15 minutes with your eyes closed. Visualize a place where you felt completely at peace. Can you see it? Picture the details—what you saw, heard, smelled, or felt in that moment. Do you remember the contentment you felt? Now, make a note of your mood after this exercise. Did it help you feel more peaceful? Episode 34: Let’s talk about contentment.

What if contentment isn’t something you find, but something you learn to look for? So many of us spend our mental energy trying to outrun what we don’t want--the worries, the what ifs, and the memories that still bring us down. It’s easy to slip into that pattern without realizing how much space it takes up. When your mind is busy dodging discomfort, it rarely has room to imagine what you do want, let alone what actually brings you peace.  When you shift your focus toward practices that calm your thoughts, you create space for clarity and ease. Clearing out the negative mental clutter allows the natural, positive energy around you to settle in. Life will always bring moments of discontent, but they don’t have to define you. You can acknowledge them, learn from them, and still turn toward what brings you back to center. Many of these conversations have explored how the natural world carries a steady, positive energy, and how clearing out the negative clutter within your own mind makes space for that energy to settle. When you intentionally bring in thoughts of peace, grounding, and inner quiet, you begin to re energize your mind in a way that supports contentment rather than conflict.  Learn to notice your thought patterns, especially when they drift toward worry or rumination. Try to shift your thoughts toward calming practices; even small ones make a difference. Clear out negative mental clutter and create space for more positive energy. Choose contentment intentionally and let it guide how to move through difficult moments. OPTIONAL ACTIVITY:  When you start to feel worried, grab a notebook or open a note on your phone. For every negative thought that comes up, write down a positive thought that balances or challenges it. Then, take a moment to focus on those positive thoughts. As you do, notice how your perspective begins to shift, and your mind becomes less worried. Episode 33: Let’s talk about bringing in inner peace during difficult times.

What does it mean to find inner peace when life feels difficult and uncertain? Inner peace isn’t about pretending everything is fine. It’s more like trusting that even when things feel hard, you’ll eventually find your way through. When you acknowledge what happened and how it made you feel, you give yourself room to breathe instead of letting the moment take over your thoughts. Every experience, good, bad, or confusing, is still just an experience. Some teach you something new, some challenge your patience, and some simply pass through. Asking yourself whether you can change the situation, whether you’re actually harmed, or whether someone’s behavior needs addressing helps you understand what’s yours to carry and what you can release. And when you realize you can let go, you start to see your own resilience. You’ve made it through every difficult moment so far, and each one has shaped your strength and your spirit. Trusting that your inner self stays steady makes peace feel a little more possible, even in the tough moments. Inner peace is a belief that things will sort themselves out in time. Experiences are shaped by your own perception. Acknowledgment of a difficult experience moves you toward acceptance. Letting go becomes possible once you’ve learned what the moment was meant to teach. SELF-REFLECTION: What difficult experiences in your life might have been guiding you toward a deeper understanding of yourself? How often do you trust yourself when facing uncertainty or pain?   About the Podcast: Let’s Talk: The Essential Guide to Being Human This podcast was born from my experiences as a channel, an intuitive who receives and communicates messages from the spirit world.
