    Did God Create Satan?

One of our Study Partners sent this question and answer they  got from Mark My Words 14 Translations Parallel Study Bible   Since God created everything, did he create Satan too? To find our on line bible study click on the link https://n4mqu.com/mark-gibson-ministries/ I have the answer they got but I want to show you how to use Mark My Words to get answers to your questions.  By the way, I do not see your questions or anything you search for using this tool.  I don’t even know how many people are using it.   Based on the biblical texts, yes, God created the spiritual being who became Satan, but He did not create him in an evil state. The scriptures explain this dynamic through several key principles: 1. God Created All Things, Including the Spiritual Realm The New Testament explicitly states that God created everything in existence, spanning both the physical world and the unseen spiritual realm: Colossians 1:16: "For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him". Because all spiritual authorities, powers, and heavenly beings were created by God, Satan was originally part of God's good creation. 2. Satan's Original State as a Holy Being Passages in the Old Testament describe the original condition of this exalted angelic being prior to his rebellion: Ezekiel 28:14–15: Referring to the "anointed cherub that covereth," the passage records God saying, "Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee". When originally formed by God, he was blameless, wise, and glorious. 3. The Fall Through Pride and Rebellion The scriptures reveal that this created angel became Satan (meaning "adversary") through his own pride, sin, and self-exaltation: Ezekiel 28:17: "Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness". Isaiah 14:12–14: Describing the fall of "Lucifer, son of the morning" (or "day star"), the text records his desire to usurp divine authority: "For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God... I will be like the most High". Jude 1:6 & 2 Peter 2:4: The New Testament notes that God judged "the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation" when they sinned. Summary God created a righteous, exalted angelic being, but that creature used his own agency to rebel in pride against God. Thus, God created the angel, but the angel made himself Satan.

    Renewing Your Mind

For my morning devotional, I spent time in Jesus Calling by Sarah Young for September 14, which covered Genesis 2:7, Psalm 89:15, and Romans 12:1-2. I also read Proverbs 14: In Genesis 2:7 it says Genesis 2:7 “Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and the man became a living being.” Psalm 89:15 “Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you who walk in the light of your presence, Lord.” Romans 12:1-2 “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God – this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve that God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will.” In my second devotional activity I read Proverbs 14. Proverbs is in the Old Testament after Psalms. It has 31 chapters so you could ready a chapter everyday of the month! For the months with 28 days you can read more! Proverbs has a lot of wisdom My favorite today Proverbs 14: “Stay away from a fool, for you will not find knowledge on their lips.” On the radio side, I played a quick game at the house to make 10 contacts—acting as my own home “POTA activation” for the morning! It wasn’t really an activation but I set a goal of making 10 contacts as I would do at a park at a minimum. This helps the activators that are all doing what I like to do at the parks around here.
