Possessing the Land – Deliverance Part 2 In this final session of the Possessing the Land series, we explore how to maintain the freedom Christ has already won for us. Deliverance is more than being set free from bondage—it’s learning to walk daily in the victory, identity, and authority we have in Jesus. Drawing from Galatians 5:1, Romans 6:11, and James 4:7, we look at three essential keys to remaining free: • Stand firm in the freedom Christ has given you. • Recognise your new identity as a child of God. • Resist the enemy by submitting to God and standing on His Word. Freedom in Christ is not maintained by human effort, but by living from who we already are in Him. Be encouraged to leave behind the old life, embrace your new reality, and possess everything God has prepared for you.

Possessing the Land Within | Deliverance & Sanctification When we hear the word deliverance, many of us immediately think of demons and exorcism. But biblical deliverance is far bigger than that. It is the process by which God removes everything that prevents us from possessing what He has already given us in Christ. Drawing from the book of Joshua, this message explores the difference between position and possession. Just as Israel inherited the Promised Land before they fully occupied it, believers have been given every spiritual blessing in Christ, yet must learn to walk in that reality through sanctification, repentance, obedience, and faith. We look at: • Deliverance beyond demons • The difference between salvation and sanctification • Why believers still struggle with fear, shame, addiction, and strongholds • The lessons of Jericho, Achan, and the Promised Land • Working out what God has already worked in • Possessing the freedom Christ has purchased for us “Deliverance is removing whatever prevents us from possessing what Christ has already given us.” Scriptures include Joshua 5, Hebrews 10:14, Romans 6, Philippians 2:12-13, Galatians 4:6-7, and Colossians 1:13.

Roots & Shoots Steakout Horizon Church.m4a

Tonight’s Steakout explored the challenge of “possessing the land” — not only around us, but within us. Drawing from the books of Joshua, Numbers, Judges, Hebrews, and Ephesians, we looked at the roots the enemy tries to plant in our lives: bitterness, anger, jealousy, wrath, fear, corrupt speech, and compromise — and the call of God to drive them out so we can fully walk in the inheritance He has prepared for us. We reflected on the reality that there is still “very much land yet to be possessed,” both personally and spiritually, and asked the difficult question: have we forgotten how to fight spiritually? As believers, we are called to stand firm, repent where needed, pursue holiness, and contend for our communities, our nation, and the next generation. A challenging and encouraging message about spiritual warfare, repentance, perseverance, and fixing our eyes on Jesus — “the author and finisher of our faith.” Key Scriptures: • Joshua 13:1 • Numbers 33:55 • Hebrews 12 • Ephesians 4 • Judges 2–3 • Isaiah 42:3

Pentecost Sunday Sermon On Pentecost Sunday, we reflect on the promise Jesus gave to His disciples: “You shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you” (Acts 1:8).
