#39: Where Is Kaedain Allen

On May 31, 2024, 19-year-old Kaedain Allen was last seen at about 11:50 PM in the 1700 block of Quarry Road, at the Quarry at Grant Park in Winston-Salem, NC. Winston-Salem police say officers had tried to stop the car he was riding in for traffic violations. The car did not stop, and officers found it at the quarry about 20 minutes later. Kaedain, a passenger, was not found despite an extensive search. He is 21 now. He has not been located and has not been heard from since. Winston-Salem Police still list him as an active missing person. In this awareness episode, our team travels to Grant Park for a reconnaissance review of the ground itself. We walk the access points, the rim, the shoreline and the surrounding terrain, so we can see how the place looks and works for anyone searching it. We share what we saw, what we still don’t know, and why a place like this is so hard to search. #38: House of Horrors - Part 2

Seven women. One house. A million files. And a man who spent decades blurring the line between art and evidence. Before Philadelphia police ever stood at a podium, Raymond "R.C." Horsch was a National Merit Scholar from Bucks County. He later became a fugitive living under aliases in New Zealand, and then a self-published pornographer who wrote openly about a "caring, empathetic serial killer." In Part 2, Find Me goes back to the beginning of his life, including a 1985 psychological evaluation that described him as grandiose, controlling, and mistrustful, and asks what the system did with that warning. Then we say the names. Amy McHale. Gabrielle Amarando. Maribel Fresses. Nicole Fusaro. Blair Tonzelli. And two women whose names have not been made public. Police say five of the seven are believed dead, and no remains have been recovered. We tell each woman's story as a person, not a body count. Raymond Horsch died in 2025 and was never charged with any homicide. His son Eugene is in federal custody on gun and fraud charges only, and investigators have said publicly that they have found no evidence connecting him to the missing or dead women. #37: House of Horrors - Part 1

The House That Was Always Watching When a U.S. Park Ranger stopped an illegally parked BMW near Independence Mall in June 2026, he had no idea he was about to crack open one of the most disturbing missing-persons investigations Philadelphia has seen in a decade. The ID card in the passenger's hand belonged to a woman who'd been missing since 2023, a woman whose photo, police would later learn, had sat on a public website for months after she vanished. In this episode, Find Me traces the arrest back to its source: a decaying rowhome on West Chew Avenue, the man who built his public identity around violence and called it art, and the federal case now unfolding around his son, who has not been charged in any disappearance. #34: The Vanishing at Winston Lake

On August 26th, 55-year-old Marcus Nathan Simpson spoke with his family for the last time. Hours later, in the early morning darkness of August 27th, his car was seen near Winston Lake Park in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He hasn't been seen since. It took a week for the silence to raise alarm. A welfare check on September 3rd came up empty, and by September 5th, Marcus was officially reported missing. When investigators searched his home, they found something that "elevated their concerns for his wellbeing." What they found, they haven't said. What followed was one of the most exhaustive searches Winston-Salem has mounted in recent memory: thirty detectives combing the woods on foot, dirt bikes and off-road vehicles covering every trail and greenway, drones sweeping the park not once but twice. And then came the water, sonar from two fire departments, an underwater drone from the Sheriff's Office, a submersible unit from Winston-Salem Fire, divers from High Point's water rescue team. Winston Lake was searched, and searched again. They found nothing. No Marcus. No car. The Find Me Project also deployed search resources to help, providing sonar and underwater search capability. We also open our intelligence process and prepare to ramp up the search.
