    What's Holding It All Together?

Episode #16: What's Holding It All Together? Life, Unmapped™ | With Kerry Gardiner Ever looked at another woman and thought, “God, she's got her shit together!” The career. The family. The house. The smile. The woman who remembers everyone's birthdays, organises everything and somehow manages to keep the wheels turning. But have you ever wondered what's going on underneath? In this episode of Life, Unmapped™, I'm taking you back to Venice, where the beautiful buildings standing above the canals hide something extraordinary beneath the water, the foundations holding everything together. And it got me thinking about us. Because as women, we can become so bloody good at looking like we're coping that nobody stops to ask how we're actually doing. We're talking about the invisible things so many women carry, particularly through midlife: - Hormonal changes, mood swings and brain fog that leave you wondering what the hell is happening to your body and mind. - The sandwich generation, juggling ageing parents, children, work and everyone else's needs while your own fall to the bottom of the list. - Late-recognised ADHD and neurodivergence, and what it can mean to finally understand why your brain may have always worked differently. - The emotional load of being the strong, capable, dependable woman everyone turns to. - Five practical ways to recognise what's happening beneath your own surface and start strengthening your foundations. This isn't about having all the answers. It's about understanding ourselves and each other a little better. Expect honest conversations, a few laughs, relatable moments and perhaps a question you've never stopped to ask yourself: What's actually holding me together? Because sometimes the woman who looks like she has everything under control is the woman who needs someone to ask, “How are you, really?” 🎧 Grab your wine, tea or whatever you're having, get comfortable and join me for another Friday-night conversation. This is your one life. Make it yours. Life, Unmapped™, real life, real conversations, no perfect roadmap. #LifeUnmapped #WomensWellbeing #MidlifeWomen #MentalHealthAwareness #PersonalGrowth

I Stopped Asking “Does He Like Me?” And Everything Changed

For a long time, there was one question quietly running underneath my dating life: “Does he like me?” After a date. After a text. After a great conversation. After a little too much silence. Does he like me? Will he call? Will he choose me? And somewhere along the way, I realised I was so busy wondering how someone else felt about me that I wasn't always stopping to ask the equally important questions: Do I like him? How do I feel around him? Can I be myself here? Do I actually like what we're creating together? And that changed everything. In this episode of Life, Unmapped™, I'm taking you through my very real experience of dating again, the ghosting, disappearing acts, questionable profile photos, awkward dates, unexpected laughs, disappointments and those moments that make you wonder what on earth modern dating has become. But this isn't really an episode about dating. It's about what every interaction in our lives, romantic relationships, friendships, family and work, can teach us about ourselves. Because the people we meet show us what feels good, what doesn't, what matters to us, what we've been tolerating and where we may have been accepting “this is as good as it gets” instead of listening to ourselves. And then I met a man. Not because I'd created the perfect relationship blueprint or finally cracked the dating code. I simply met a man I liked. And the more I've gotten to know him, the more I've enjoyed discovering the kind, caring, gentle and consistent man he is. It's still very early, and neither of us knows where our story will go. But wherever it leads, he has already reminded me of something dating can sometimes make us forget: There are still really good men out there. This is a warm, funny and very honest conversation about dating, self-trust, listening to yourself and what happens when you stop asking only whether someone else chooses you... …and remember that you get to choose too. 🎧 I Stopped Asking “Does He Like Me?” And Everything Changed
