Why Nutritionists Struggle to Delegate, and How an Internship Program Changes That with Brittany Braswell

Send us Fan Mail You can love your clients and still be drowning in the back end of your business. That tension is where this conversation goes, fast. I’m joined by Brittany, a dietitian of 13 years who went from sports nutrition and eating disorder work to building an internship model that helps wellness entrepreneurs delegate meaningful tasks without hiring a VA or adding to payroll. We get honest about what delegation actually requires: clear roles, realistic expectations, and leadership that does not default to micromanaging. Brittany shares how she trains interns with simple screen recordings, organized workflows, and a system where interns help build SOPs as they learn. We also talk about a practical 30 day evaluation that protects quality, improves fit, and gives you permission to adjust the seat on the bus instead of scrapping the whole plan. The story behind it is real life scaling, not theory: working from a hot garage during early COVID, constant context switching between motherhood and business, and the moment she realized she needed support that did not require a bigger payroll line. We also unpack the fear side of growth, including stepping away from one on one work, taking a temporary pay cut, and building predictable revenue again with intention. If you’re a wellness entrepreneur, nutritionist, coach, or service provider who wants more capacity, better systems, and a smarter path to scale, hit play and take notes. Subscribe, share this with a business owner friend, and leave a review so more women can build businesses on their terms. Instagram Didn't Stop Working. You Were Never Building a Business On It To Begin With.

Send us Fan Mail Your reach is down, your reels feel invisible, and the temptation is to rewrite hooks until midnight. We are not doing that today. We are naming the real issue: Instagram reach is not an asset you own, and when your business depends on something you rent, your income stays at the mercy of algorithm shifts, account glitches, and trends you cannot control.  We walk through what the “influencer model” looks like for holistic nutritionists and wellness entrepreneurs, especially when affiliate links and other people’s programs start to replace your own offers. It can feel safe because you avoid refunds, reviews, and responsibility for outcomes, but the cost is steep: no intellectual property, no client journey, no sellable business asset, and no reliable way to reach the people who already trust you. I share the scenario of the warm follower who saves your posts for months and still never buys because there is nowhere clear to go next. That is not an algorithm problem. That is an ownership problem.  Then we get concrete with three owned assets that keep working when social media reach dips: a named method that makes your work referable in one sentence, an owned email list built around a specific problem and promise, and an ascension path that bridges free content to core and premium offers. If you want Instagram marketing that actually drives revenue, we also talk about the only metric that matters: how many people move off rented land and onto property you control.  If you are ready to build something scalable and sellable, I also share details on Ignite, my six-month mastermind for holistic nutritionists who want real business ownership. Subscribe, share this with a friend who is stuck chasing vanity metrics, and leave a review so more women can find it. What is the first asset you are going to build? Value-Based Pricing for Holistic Nutritionists: The 4-Check Method

Send us Fan Mail Your website can be 100% accurate and still leave money on the table. If you’re leading with lab tests, protocols, and “tailored approaches,” you might be explaining your process while your future client is begging to hear the outcome. We tell a real-life story that exposes how easy it is to default to curriculum talk, then we show you how to flip your message into transformation language that makes people feel seen fast.  We pull inspiration from Rachel Rodgers’ mindset-shifting idea that you can’t price well until you’re clear on the result you deliver. Then we get super practical with swipeable examples for holistic nutritionists: what gut health, PCOS and hormone support, autoimmune work, and fertility support sound like when you describe the client’s day-to-day life after working with you. The goal is simple: make your value obvious without hiding behind jargon, so the right client instantly thinks, “She gets me.”  You’ll also get a concrete exercise to write five outcome sentences from your last five clients, plus a four-part pricing checklist that helps you charge in proportion to the transformation. We talk payment plans, doing a real gut check, and why pricing for your dream client (not the most hesitant one) changes everything. If you’re rebuilding your offer suite or rewriting your homepage, this one is built to save and reuse.  Subscribe for more conversations about ambition, money, and ownership, share this with a fellow wellness entrepreneur, and leave a review if it helps you price and sell with more clarity. Will AI Replace Holistic Nutritionists?

Send us Fan Mail AI can write a meal plan in seconds. It can calculate macros, draft a supplement starter list, and explain a blood sugar crash in plain English with a confidence that sounds like a pro. If your holistic nutrition offer is priced around handing over a protocol or a PDF, that reality is not “someday” tech, it is right now, and it forces a hard business question: what are clients truly paying for when information becomes free? We unpack the part most online takes gloss over: many holistic nutritionists were never paid for the relationship, even though everyone says “the human part” is safe. When the deliverable is the plan, AI doesn’t need to replace you to disrupt you, it only has to make your deliverable a commodity. From there, I draw a clear line between a practice that trades hours for protocols and a business that owns a named method, an ascension path, and assets that earn without you being in the room. You’ll hear a practical exposure ranking for common wellness business models, plus four concrete moves to become AI proof: create and name your method, price the outcome instead of the plan, build one asset that sells without you present, and come back into real community because connection is the moat. I also share how I actually use AI for admin and editing to protect my time while keeping my voice, opinions, and leadership fully human. If you’re ready to stop renting your income and start owning your IP, hit play, share this with a practitioner friend, and subscribe so you don’t miss what’s next. How a 'Soft' Brand Got 200 Webinar Sign-Ups With One Bold, Spicy Title | with Sami Garrett

Send us Fan Mail You can love your kids and still feel like you’re one more spilled snack away from losing it. That edge doesn’t mean you’re a bad mom, it often means your nervous system has been carrying too much for too long. We’re talking with Sami Garrett, founder of Good Enough Matrescence, about the real transformation of matrescence and why “bounce back” is such a trap. She shares her path through postpartum rage, the shame spiral that follows, and the shift that finally created lasting change: treating those blowups as information, not proof that you’re broken. We get into nervous system regulation, subconscious patterns, and why tools only stick when the deeper load is addressed. Then we zoom out to the practical side: how she built a modern village as an online membership community for moms, structured as a collective rather than a top-down guru model. You’ll hear how profit share works with partners, what’s included in the two-tier membership, and why the community itself is the foundation. We also unpack her bold webinar title “How To Not Lose Your Shit” and the marketing strategy behind nearly 200 registrants, including ads, conversion rates, and the funnel into a two-week free trial. If you’ve been craving support that feels honest, compassionate, and actually useful, press play. Why Your Lead Magnet Isn't Converting (It's Not Your Freebie, It's Your Form)

Send us Fan Mail Your funnel might not be “broken” at all. It might just be asking for way too much, way too soon. We see it constantly with wellness entrepreneurs, holistic nutritionists, and service-based practitioners: a freebie or low-ticket offer that should feel like an easy yes, but the opt-in form is longer than an actual client intake. That extra friction doesn’t make you look thorough. It makes people pause, wonder why you need their life story for something small, and quietly click away. We walk through the simple principle that clears up the confusion fast: the amount of information you ask for should match the amount of commitment you’re asking someone to make. A lead magnet is not a relationship yet, and a low-cost purchase isn’t a custom program. If you’re not changing what someone receives based on their answers, those fields are often just barriers between a willing buyer and the buy button. We also zoom out to the bigger business math, including why a “10K month” can mean 67 sessions at one price point and a totally different calendar at another, depending on your pricing strategy and offer ecosystem. You’ll leave with a practical opt-in audit you can do today: count your fields, challenge the real purpose behind each one, and reserve long forms for high-ticket offers where personalization is expected and trust matters. If you want extra guidance, the 10K Month Ecosystem Map and the Empire Gap Quiz are linked in the show notes. That's How Long It Actually Takes: The Case Against Shorter Programs with Ciara Waterfield

Send us Fan Mail A lot of wellness advice still sells a highlight reel: quick mindset shifts, neat timelines, and tidy “after” photos. We go the other direction and talk about what self-love looks like when it’s built from the inside out, through anxiety, body disconnection, and the messy middle of becoming who you actually are. Our guest, Ciara Waterfield, went from training as a professional actress to navigating a spiritual and mental health breakdown that included chronic anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and suicidal depression. She shares the exact patterns that showed up in relationships, like codependency and people pleasing, and why those behaviors are often nervous system survival responses rather than character flaws. We also dig into the most underrated tool in personal development: awareness, and how creating a small buffer of quiet can change the trajectory of your life. Then we shift into the business of healing work. Ciara explains how she designs her coaching offers as an ecosystem with multiple entry points and one connected methodology, from mini masterclasses to her six-month “Dating Your Soul” container. If you’re a female wellness entrepreneur trying to build sustainable offers, ethical marketing, and real client transformation, you’ll take away a clearer way to structure support around integration, embodiment, and community.
