Your Story Your Medicine

plumb_planes_collective

Your Story, Your Medicine is a podcast about the stories that shape us. Taylor Jardine sits down with men from all walks of life to explore the experiences, challenges, relationships, failures and turning points that have made them who they are. These aren't conversations with people who have it all figured out. They're conversations with men who have lived, lost, learned, changed and kept going. Because you don't need to be famous, successful or an expert to have a story worth hearing. Sometimes the greatest wisdom comes from simply listening to another man speak honestly about his life. Your story might be the thing that helps someone else understand their own. This is an invitation to listen with your heart, take what resonates and leave what doesn't. The Stories of Taylor Jardine

No better way to step into this episode than by sharing with you, where it's actually going. When we started Your Story, Your Medicine, I honestly didn't know exactly what it would become. We have had some beautiful conversation, heard some incredible stories and I've been fortunate to sit across from people who are willing to share parts of themselves that aren't always easy to talk about. And I want to start by saying thank you, especially to all of the women. Who have shared their stories with us so far. Thank you, for your honesty, your vulnerability, your wisdom and for trusting us with your stories. These conversations have been an important part of this podcast, and I'm genuinely grateful for every one of you. But something has been becoming increasingly clear to me. The work I'm doing, the conversations I'm having, and the community that is growing around me is increasingly centred around men. Men's mental health, men's emotional lives, the relationships, identity, purpose, fatherhood, intimacy, pressure, success, and loneliness. The things that so many men experience internally, but don't always have a place to talk about it openly. So from this episode onwards, your story, your medicine is becoming a podcast focused specifically on men. And today's episode feels like the right place to begin. Because for the first time, you're actually going to hear my story in this way. My partner is sitting across from me, asking me the questions. As I think it's important that before I ask other men to tell their stories, I tell you more of mine. Because this isn't a podcast about having all the answers. It's about having the courage to be honest. Real conversations and what it means to be a man today. About all the things we carry, the things we hide, the relationships we're trying to navigate. This is the next chapter of your story, your medicine, and I'm really glad you're here for it. @taylor_jardine www.plumbplanes.com
