    From Endometriosis To Childhood Cancer | Michaela’s Story

    Michaela's life was turned upside down when her son, Saul, was diagnosed with leukaemia at the age of five. As a mother, she found herself facing every parent's worst nightmare — navigating hospital appointments, uncertainty, and the emotional toll of watching her little boy battle cancer. Today, Saul is still undergoing treatment. Yet this isn't the first major challenge Michaela has faced. After years of debilitating symptoms, Michaela was diagnosed with endometriosis, a painful condition in which tissue similar to the lining of the womb grows in other parts of the body. She underwent numerous procedures, experienced secondary infertility and ultimately made the heartbreaking decision to have a hysterectomy. In this episode, Michaela opens up about the physical and emotional impact of both journeys, the grief she carries and the resilience she has discovered along the way as she continues to support Saul through his treatment.
