2 Sisters And... is a podcast hosted by two Puerto Rican sisters in their 30s with very different lives - one is married with a child and working in personal injury law, the other a pre-k teacher navigating the single life. Each episode, we talk about the things we are interested in and going through-dating, work, family, K-Pop, life changes, and between-while using the podcast as a space to connect, and grow as sisters along the way. Some conversations are light, some will get real, and some surprise us - but all of them are genuine. Life, sisterhood, and everything in between.

    After a week off thanks to Yashua’s back acting up (because apparently this is what being in your 30s is like), Yashua and Ashley catch up on life.     We Brought It Back to Rom-Coms, Okay?

    Valentine’s Day. Not Valentimes. Please learn how to spell before you buy heart-shaped candy. This week we start off debating the real red flag of the season: couples who sit on the same side of the booth. Why? Who are you hiding from? Is the wall part of the relationship? We have questions. Then, like any normal podcast, we aggressively pivot into sports movies. Yashua goes full motivational locker room speech over Miracle (2004, Disney, 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team… yes, she knows the year, yes, don’t get her started). If you hear “AGAIN!” yelled at any point, just mind your business. Meanwhile, Ashley is over here defending the holy trinity: The Sandlot, Rookie of the Year, and The Mighty Ducks — which Yashua absolutely does not respect. At all. From there we spiral into underrated vs. overrated movies, actors who deserved better, actors who maybe got a little too much, and cinematic hot takes no one asked for.     Two Sisters And... Weekend Update

    We’re catching up on the weekend because we missed Friday (Ashley was too tired and fully passed out on the couch). From a failed second-grade dance and a devastated 8-year-old (no mac & cheese balls ) to Ashley’s low-key birthday weekend (Woot 35… don’t talk about it). Saturday took a dark turn at a Serial Killer Exhibition—fascinating, unsettling, 10/10 facts—followed by a very unserious attempt to recover at a “cute” coffee shop with sold-out pastries, display-only treats, and overpriced mid matcha. Sunday was rest for Ashley, family chaos for Yashua (indoor playgrounds, feral children, and trampolines), and the Benito Bowl where PR pride was LOUD and PROUD. Ricky Martin moved Ashley, Lady Gaga was shaky, Benito killed it. We wrap with unhinged Taylor Swift internet discourse because of course we do. What a weekend.
