LORD, IS IT MINE?

Contentment is hard to find in this crazy world where peace, hope and love seem to be absent. But for the believer, beloved of God, those called to be saints, knowing the Word of God and His word to us, brings joy and contentment even in a world thundering with Apocalyptic warnings. A thorough understanding of the gospel enables us to make sense of life and yes, the peace found therein, is meant for you. It is not surprising that the church in every generation has acknowledged the importance of Romans, not least at the time of the Reformation. Luther called it ‘really the chief part of the New Testament, and … truly the purest gospel’. He continued: ‘It is worthy not only that every Christian should know it word for word, by heart, but also that he should occupy himself with it every day, as the daily bread of the soul.’ John Stott Josh McDowell ; Wherever the Gospel of Jesus is proclaimed, we see lives change for the good, nations change for the better, thieves become honest, alcoholics become sober, hateful individuals become channels of love, unjust persons embrace justice. Why??? because it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. I AM NOT ASHAMED

Paul’s desire to go to Rome may seem a little eccentric to some but I think he makes good sense in his explanation; Rome was the capital of the empire, the center of the gentile, more glorious, earthly speaking and more decadent, spiritually speaking than any place in the world. If there was a place where the Gospel needed to go, it was Rome. Paul declared, he had a debt to pay, he was anxious to get there and he was not ashamed to tell the gentile world the good news of forgiveness for all through the work of Jesus Christ. For Paul, the chance to see the church at Rome solidify was of the highest priorities. They must understand “the just shall LIVE by faith”. A thorough understanding of the gospel enables us to make sense of life and yes, the peace found therein. A CADILLAC OR ROLLER - SKATES

Everybody wants the little lamb but, make no mistake; every human on the planet will meet ‘Jesus the Judge’. The pertinent question is, which judgment will you be at or maybe, what you will be judged for. All believers will have their works judged on merit or value to determine what rewards we may receive in the life to come. Some of us will receive honor and a crown others will be ashamed when we have to answer Jesus with no surviving good works. The really good news is, all of us, will have our tears and shame washed away regardless of our surviving works! "The Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes." WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO WEAR?

God’s desire for us to be Holy is to like Him, so we can be with Him. Holiness is our Lord’s foremost attribute and He cannot and will not tolerate sin in His presence; therefore we must be holy, the unholy cannot see Him! Christ Jesus came into our world, lived a perfect holy life, and died on our behalf so that we might be made holy. Our very best holiness, accounted for nothing, His holiness gifted to us counts for everything! Having been given such a great gift, it is my light duty to live joyfully trying to serve the KING of KINGS ; JUST KEEP TRYING! “The pursuit of holiness requires sustained and vigorous effort. Where Will You Be?

“Where Will you be on The Day of the Lord?” As a blood bought believer in Jesus Christ, and one who has received the grace of His righteousness, I will be with Him, coming in the clouds to the Mount of Olives. The born again will have been taken as His bride and emerge from the wedding chambers at the end of the week of tribulation on earth. Where will you be? That is a question that requires your attention now; people, ‘The King is Coming!’ 1Thessalonians 5:9 For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. He urges us forward by setting a most certain hope of victory before us. The wish of God is to save us from the wrath to come. THE WEDDING DAY

So, we look at our lives and we say, 'What do You need from me, I don't want to be found unfaithful, though my best is not good enough'; His best was more than enough. There is a wedding day. It's coming. We are betrothed to Jesus Christ and He will return for us. Chance Faulkner From heaven Christ came and sought her. The Son of God took on flesh that he might woo and win his unfaithful bride. Putting on her humanity, he lived the life she never could—loving the Lord in complete faithfulness and loyalty. He died an excruciating death in her place to redeem her from the debt of death that she deserved. He takes responsibility for her—her debt ,He makes his debt, his righteousness he gives to her. All her needs are met and she is safe under his generous provision. He adores her—he has eyes for no one else. His banner over her is love. His heart is hers. He is devoted to her—not holding back in loving affection. In her sin, he is infinitely compassionate. Not pulling back in distance from her but drawing near in tender devotion. In her worst he gives her his best. Christ spends himself on her. He sweats for her. He bleeds for her. He dies for her. He gives himself up for her. For he loves her. IS THERE A MASTER PLAN?

The future of humanity has indeed been planned a long time ago. It is a glorious future filled with unimaginable beauty, splendor and honour: NONE of which is deserving, ALL of which is completely unearned and unwarranted grace! For some reason, we have been desired by God! Our love, relations and friendship often seem so unworthy and unattractive even to each other but the God of glory sees us differently. Our Lord Jesus love looks beyond our darkness and permeates our sin with his own righteousness transforming us from our lowly estate into His glorious state that we might share in His glory as His brother, His friend and His bride! Stop and ponder the wonder of God’s master plan. He chose to suffer for a world that hates Him. In doing so, He would pay the price needed to free His bride from sin and death, but also in the process, He would bond deeply with Her. She in turn would deeply bond with Him through the sufferings she would face in a very perverse and cruel world. This strong bond would intensify the desire He would have to be reunited with her and she with Him. The second coming isn’t just an event. It is the uniting of two lovers, a Groom and a bride to be. ARE YOU WATCHING?

If the First Advent was predictable, to the genuine just and devout believer, then it would makes sense that the Second Advent would be just as predictable. Keep in mind, the day and the hour have been kept even from the Son but the genuine just and devout believers should be able to discern the times and season. Are you starting to see them? Are you watching? Jesus is coming; the signs of the times are everywhere! But how do we discern His coming?--John Bevere: There are spiritual seasons and times and God determines them. It is important to understand times and seasons. Perhaps this is why one third of Scripture is prophetic. God has much to say, so we can prepare, be ready and act in alignment with either the time or the season. Jesus rebukes the spiritual leaders. --Lu 12:54 ¶ Then He said to the multitudes, "Whenever you see a cloud rising out of the west, immediately you say, 'A shower is coming'; and so it is. 55 "And when you see the south wind blow, you say, 'There will be hot weather'; and there is. 56 "Hypocrites!
