116: Jenna Brooks — Learning to Trust Your Business Decisions Again

A behind-the-scenes conversation about what happens when investing in business support doesn’t create the clarity you hoped for — and instead leaves you questioning your own decisions. In this episode, I’m joined by Jenna Brooks, a holistic health practitioner specializing in gut and liver health and toxin awareness. What we explored: • Moving from healthcare expertise into entrepreneurship without knowing the business basics• Investing heavily in business support and realizing it wasn’t producing the results she expected• How a disappointing investment affected Jenna’s confidence in her own decision-making• Wanting expert guidance that can identify the problem instead of asking you what needs fixing• Building toward more clients without continuing to take actions that lead in the wrong direction The right support shouldn’t require you to already know exactly what’s wrong. Sometimes what you need most is help seeing the problem clearly enough to know what actually deserves your time, money, and attention. 110: Crystal Gilbert — When You Have the Skills but Not the Business Model

A behind-the-scenes conversation about what happens when you have years of training, multiple certifications, and a deep ability to help people — but still don’t know how to turn all of it into a business that feels clear and sustainable. In this episode, I’m joined by Crystal Gilbert, a holistic health practitioner who began this path in 2018 and officially started her business in 2021, bringing together training across natural health, coaching, psychology, trauma, and emotional wellness. What we explored: • Moving from an in-person referral-based practice to rebuilding online• Why the “successful” business model she followed eventually led to burnout• The frustration of investing in courses and mentors without finding what actually fits• Why holistic practitioners often need a different building process than copy-and-paste businesses• Translating many skills and certifications into a clear offer, business model, and structure Having more training doesn’t automatically create more business clarity. Sometimes the real work is learning how to translate everything you know into something your people can understand, trust, and buy — without forcing yourself into someone else’s model.
