The Forks That Shape Us - S4E1 - With Edwina Robertson

In this very special live episode of The Women We Know, Stacey sits down with Edwina Robertson at Linen on the Lawn, in front of a room full of women, to talk about the forks in the road that have shaped her life. Edwina has never been afraid of a little adventure. From a childhood that left her learning how to find her own sense of worth, to an unexpected heartbreak that became a breakthrough, a photography career she created almost from scratch, a viral photograph that changed the direction of her work, and a 100-day adventure around Australia without a dollar to her name — Edwina’s story is full of unexpected turns. Then came grief, an international move, South Africa, Botswana, a relationship, a life she thought she was building overseas… and a decision that wasn't hers to make when she was forced to leave it all behind. Now, back in Australia and building a tiny home, Edwina is discovering a very different kind of life — one she calls her “soft life.” This is a conversation about the choices we make, the choices life makes for us, trusting our intuition, learning to take ownership of where we are, and finding a way forward when the road doesn't look anything like we imagined. Recorded live at Linen on the Lawn, this is Edwina’s story — but perhaps, as Stacey hoped when she stepped onto the stage, you might recognise a little piece of your own along the way. Starting Again - S3E8 - With Lacie Clarke

In this episode of The Women We Know, Stacey sits down with Lacie Clark, a woman she first met when Lacie bravely walked up and introduced herself at Linen on the Lawn — and shared a little of her story. Lacie has lived a life of giving things a go. From working in the cattle industry, to unexpectedly buying and running a florist, she has never been afraid to jump in and figure things out along the way. But behind the businesses, the hard work and the constant showing up, Lacie was burning out. Eventually, she had to face the reality that she couldn’t keep living the same way. Walking away from her business felt like failure at first, but she slowly began to realise that sometimes choosing yourself means letting go of the life you’ve worked so hard to build. Now, with a caravan, her sausage dog Banjo and no clear plan for what comes next, Lacie is learning to be okay with not having all the answers. This is a conversation about burnout, self-worth, fear, starting over, taking a risk and learning to trust yourself — even when the next chapter is completely unknown. Because starting again doesn't mean you failed. Sometimes, it means you finally chose yourself. If I Can, You Can - S3E7 - With Kathryn Rands

In this episode, Stacey sits down with Kathryn Rands, a holistic practitioner, NLP Master Practitioner and founder of Time to Shine UK, for a beautiful conversation about resilience, reinvention and finding your way back to yourself. Kathryn shares the story of the shy little girl she once was, the experiences that shaped her, and the seasons of divorce, debt, grief, family struggles and caring for others that eventually led her to realise she needed to start looking after herself too. Together, Stacey and Kathryn talk about stepping outside your comfort zone, changing the way you speak to yourself, finding courage when you're full of doubt, and the unexpected people and moments that can change the course of your life. At the heart of Kathryn's story is a simple belief: “If I can, you can.” And perhaps the biggest reminder from this conversation is that a difficult chapter doesn't mean your story is over. Sometimes, you simply need to turn the page. Connect with Kathryn: Insta-randskathryn Facebook- Kathryn Rands Website-Time-2- shine-baildon.co.uk Know a woman with a story worth sharing? Becoming more of yourself - S3E6 - With Urmi Hossain

In this episode, Stacey sits down with Urmi Hossain — a finance professional, author, speaker, podcast host, mentor and advocate for women in leadership — for a powerful conversation about identity, belonging, ambition and the courage to become who you’re meant to be. Born and raised in Italy to Bangladeshi parents, Urmi grew up between cultures, often questioning where she belonged and whether she had to choose one part of herself over another. Today, she embraces every part of her story. Together, Stacey and Urmi explore what it means to build an identity on your own terms, to step away from environments that no longer align with who you're becoming, and to have the courage to quietly create a life that feels right for you — even when nobody else can see the vision yet. They talk about ambition, reinvention, self-investment and the pressure we can place on ourselves to constantly achieve, prove and become more. But Urmi offers a powerful reminder: You don't need another title to prove your worth. You don't need permission to become who you are. You are already enough. And the advice she would give her younger self? Trust the process. Everything will be okay. Give It A Go - S3E5 - With Ashlee Bailey

What if we stopped waiting for the perfect plan and simply trusted ourselves enough to give it a go? In this episode of The Women We Know, Stacey sits down with her friend Ash Bailey — a mum of three, business owner, wife, student, and self-confessed woman who has never been very good at sitting still. Ash has built her life by following her gut, taking chances and being willing to change direction when something no longer feels right. From career changes and spontaneous moves to starting a business, motherhood and navigating a rheumatoid arthritis diagnosis, her story is a reminder that life rarely follows a perfectly mapped-out plan. They talk about motherhood, the woman underneath all the roles, the influence of the mothers who came before us, and the surprisingly difficult lesson of learning to ask for help. But perhaps the biggest lesson from Ash is this: it's okay to pivot. Something can feel right today and not feel right tomorrow. A path can become clunky. A plan can change. And that doesn't mean you've failed — it might simply mean you're being asked to trust yourself again. This is a conversation about backing yourself, giving things a go, asking for help when you need it, and remembering that you don't have to take life quite so seriously. Because sometimes, you just have to say f**k it… let's give it a go. Know a woman with a story worth sharing? Stacey would love to hear from you. Subscribe and Follow so you never miss an episode. The Brave Dreamer - S3E4 - With Sarah King

There are some people who leave you feeling lighter simply because of the way they see the world. Sarah King is one of those people. Sarah describes herself as a brave dreamer—and by the end of this conversation, you'll understand exactly why. Born with spina bifida and hydrocephalus, Sarah has spent her life navigating challenges that many of us will never fully understand. But this conversation isn't defined by disability—it's defined by hope, courage, faith, and the quiet decision to keep dreaming, even when life looks nothing like you imagined. Sarah shares what she calls her "beautiful reset"—a season of slowing down, healing from burnout, reconnecting with herself, and discovering that bravery doesn't always look loud. Sometimes it's choosing rest. Sometimes it's protecting your sparkle. Sometimes it's simply believing that it's never too late to begin again. We also talk about Dance Brave, the spaces Sarah is creating for people to reconnect with themselves through movement, why asking "How can I support you?" can change someone's world, and the perspective that has carried her through every season of life. If you've ever felt exhausted, lost a little of yourself, or wondered if you still have the courage to dream again, this conversation is for you. This is a conversation about protecting your sparkle, choosing hope, and remembering that the bravest thing you can do is keep dreaming. You Don't Have To Do It Alone - S3E3 - With Kerryn Geltch

In this episode, I’m joined by Kerryn Geltch — a mum of four, business owner and rural woman who has lived through more chapters than most people would ever know from simply looking in. Kerryn and I talk about motherhood and the bittersweet reality of watching our children grow up, the unexpected journey of navigating her daughter Emily’s hearing loss, and the incredible village that helped carry her family through those early years. We also talk about trusting your gut, having the courage to leave a marriage that wasn’t right for her, finding her way back to herself, and building a life that feels more like her — including a very spontaneous leap into owning a coffee van. But perhaps what stays with me most is Kerryn’s reminder that none of us are meant to do this alone. That sometimes we just need someone to open the door, sit down for a coffee and remind us that we’re not the only ones figuring it out. Because behind the women who look like they have it all together, there is usually a story we don’t see. And Kerryn’s message is simple: reach out. You’re not alone. The Woman Who Said Yes - S3E2 - With Milynda Rogers

Stacey sits down with Milynda Rogers, whose life has been shaped by saying yes before she always knew exactly what she was saying yes to. From becoming an award-winning scrap metal artist and creating the famous Lake Dunn Sculpture Trail, to becoming a counsellor, studying engineering and serving as Deputy Mayor of the Barcaldine Regional Council, Milynda's life has never followed a carefully mapped-out plan. In this conversation, Stacey and Milynda talk about curiosity, confidence, the fear that can exist beneath the surface of a brave life, and the permission we sometimes need to give ourselves to pursue the things that light us up. Milynda shares how she learned to stop seeing her curiosity as selfish, why she believes we shouldn't wait until we're perfect to begin, and how saying yes to opportunities has shaped a life she never could have planned. This is a conversation about following your curiosity, trusting yourself, and remembering that you don't have to feel confident to take the next step.
