Stop Chasing the Scale: Start Listening to Your Body with Neha Arora

What if your health goals didn't have to mean completely overhauling your life? In this episode of Work With Your Cycle, I'm joined by Neha Arora, a Certified Women's Hormones Coach and Weight Loss Coach who helps women 30+ support hormonal balance, improve their energy, and lose stubborn weight through sustainable lifestyle changes. We talk about why women's health is about so much more than the number on the scale and why nutrition, gut health, sleep, stress, emotional well-being, hormones, and movement all deserve a place in the conversation. Neha also shares her own journey into women's health, including discovering she had endometriosis while trying to start a family and later realizing how difficult it was to follow an overly complicated nutrition plan while working and raising a young child. That experience helped shape her approach today. We also dive into cycle syncing, including how tracking your menstrual cycle can help you notice patterns in your energy, mood, focus, productivity, nutrition, and workouts. Neha shares how she approaches nutrition and movement throughout the different phases of the menstrual cycle and why understanding your body's patterns can help you make adjustments instead of constantly pushing through them. And perhaps my favorite takeaway? Stop chasing perfection and focus on consistency. We talk about how small habits can become much more powerful when you actually make them sustainable enough to stick with. What You'll Learn: Why sustainable weight loss and women's health involve much more than calories and willpower. The early signs that your body may be asking you to pay closer attention to your hormones, gut health, sleep, stress, nutrition, and lifestyle. How tracking your menstrual cycle can help you understand your energy, mood, productivity, nutrition, and exercise patterns. How you can begin cycle syncing your nutrition and movement instead of constantly pushing against your body's changing needs. Why consistency—not perfection—is the key to creating sustainable health habits. And if there's one thing I hope you take away from this conversation, it's this: You don't have to wait until your body is screaming before you start listening. About Neha: Neha Arora is a Certified Women's Hormones Coach and Weight Loss Coach who helps women 30+ lose stubborn weight, improve their energy, and support hormonal balance through a holistic approach to nutrition, gut health, sleep, stress, mindset, and sustainable habits. As a mom and working professional herself, Neha understands that women's health strategies have to work in real life. Her mission is to make health simple, realistic, and achievable so women can feel confident, energized, and at home in their bodies again. Neha's Gift to You: Neha created a cycle-syncing guide that helps women understand the four phases of their menstrual cycle and make choices around nutrition, movement, productivity, work, and everyday life that better support where they are in their cycle. How to Set Up Your Week Without Giving Up Your Weekend

One of the reasons I started my business was to create more freedom in my life. But when you own a business, it can be surprisingly difficult to actually enjoy that freedom. Even when I'm not working, I can still find myself thinking about what needs to get done, what I could improve, and what I need to tackle next week. So in this episode of Work With Your Cycle, I'm sharing three simple things I do on Sunday to prepare for the week without spending my entire weekend thinking about my business. These aren't complicated productivity systems or another planner you need to buy. They're simple routines that help me get things out of my head, reduce unnecessary decision-making, regulate my nervous system, and create a smoother transition into the week. I also talk about how I use cycle syncing when I plan my week, why I pick out my clothes for the entire workweek, and why accountability matters when you no longer have a boss telling you what needs to be done and when. Because building a business should give you more freedom, not recreate the same stressful environment you may have left behind. What You'll Learn: How getting unfinished tasks out of your head can help you actually disconnect from your business over the weekend. Why I plan unfinished tasks around my cycle phase and available energy, rather than simply filling up my planner. How picking out five outfits on Sunday can reduce decision fatigue and make my mornings easier. Why accountability becomes especially important when you're a business owner without a boss. How simple systems can help you protect your freedom, create a smoother week, and leave more mental energy for the work that actually moves your business forward. You don't have to overhaul your entire life. Try one small system and pay attention to what changes. Because you didn't build your business just to create another job for yourself. You built it to create a life you actually enjoy. Healing Pain Without Medication, Doctors, or "Managing It" with Aly Breathe

I am so excited for this episode because it confirmed something I've believed for a long time: our bodies and our cycles are always talking to us, we just aren't always taught how to listen. In this episode of Work With Your Cycle, I'm joined by Aly Breathe, an Embodied Mindset Coach who helps people release chronic pain, tension, and other stubborn physical symptoms. But it's not by managing them, but by dissolving the deeper story that's been keeping them in place. Aly works with women founders and leaders navigating invisible pressure, burnout, and the kind of chronic pain that doctors, medications, and physical therapy haven't been able to touch. In this conversation, we go deep on the connection between the nervous system, unprocessed emotion, and physical symptoms like back pain, migraines, sciatica, fibromyalgia, eczema, and high blood pressure and why so many people believe they have to hit a breaking point before they're "allowed" to ask for help. Aly also opens up about her own healing journey, including how mindset work (not hormone therapy) helped regulate her cycle as a teenager, and shares simple, practical ways to start aligning your cycle with your mindset and energy right now. What You'll Learn: Why chronic pain and tension are often the body's loudest signal that something beneath the surface needs to be seen and why treating the symptom alone doesn't always create lasting reliefWhy letting go of pain usually isn't the hard part but letting go of the identity of being someone who's sick or in pain isThe quiet signs (in your health, finances, or relationships) that mean it's time to get support, even when your life looks "fine" from the outsideAly's personal story of healing chronic stuttering, an unhealthy relationship with food, and an irregular cycle through mindset work aloneSimple, doable ways to start syncing your mindset and schedule with your cycle, including the tools and practices Aly uses herselfIf you've ever felt like you've tried everything, the appointments, the treatments, the self-help books, and nothing has fully worked, this episode will show you there's another way to look at what your body has been carrying. About Aly: Aly Breathe is an Embodied Mindset Coach who helps people release chronic pain, not by managing it, but by dissolving the deeper story that's been keeping it in place. After years of working with women founders and leaders navigating invisible pressure and burnout, Aly discovered something profound: the body doesn't lie. Stop Overthinking Your Business Decisions

What if cycle-syncing was supposed to help you trust yourself but instead, you’ve started using it as another reason to second-guess every decision? In this episode of Work With Your Cycle, I’m talking about something so many women struggle with: overthinking. Especially when you’re a business owner trying to make the “right” decision about your launch, pricing, content, workload, or next move. When we start treating cycle-syncing as a set of rigid rules—launch during this phase, rest during that phase, create during another phase—it’s easy to fall into analysis paralysis. Instead of using your menstrual cycle and energy as information, you start looking for the perfect time and the perfect answer. And spoiler alert: there is no perfect time or perfect decision. There are simply different choices with different trade-offs. I’m walking you through how to recognize when overthinking is actually perfectionism or fear in disguise, how to check in with your body and intuition, and why giving yourself a deadline can help you finally make the decision you’ve been circling around. I also talk about why action creates momentum, why confidence comes from doing, and how making decisions gives you real data about what works for you and your business. What You'll Learn: Why overthinking can turn cycle-syncing into analysis paralysis and why your cycle isn't a rigid rulebook. How to distinguish between asking whether something is the “perfect” time and asking whether it’s a reasonable time based on your cycle and energy. How to identify the fear underneath the decision you're avoiding. Why giving yourself a 24-hour deadline can help you stop analyzing and start moving. How taking action creates momentum, confidence, and real data about what works for your business.Your Challenge:Think of one decision you've been overthinking in your business. Maybe it's launching something, changing your prices, hiring someone, changing your offer, or finally doing the thing you've been thinking about for weeks, or even months. Name the decision. Ask yourself: What am I actually afraid of? Then give yourself 24 hours to decide and take one small action. If you're still stuck after those 24 hours, come back to the show notes and schedule a Consistent Month Call so we can work through what's really keeping you stuck and rework the decision around your unique situation. Sustainable Marketing: How to Keep Showing Up Without Always Showing Up with Laura England

In this episode of Work With Your Cycle, I’m joined by Laura England, founder of The Writer’s Harbour, a sustainable marketing agency. We’re talking about one of my favorite business questions: What if your marketing could keep working even when you’re not? Laura shares her unconventional journey from studying drama and English, to digital marketing, to spending three years working on cruise ships, and ultimately returning to entrepreneurship with a completely different perspective on how she wanted to market her business. Laura and I dive into sustainable marketing strategies like Pinterest, LinkedIn, email marketing, evergreen content, and thought leadership, as well as why you don't have to rely on constantly creating Reels, chasing viral content, or being visible every single day to grow your business. We also talk about how these strategies can complement cycle syncing by creating marketing assets that continue working during the phases when your energy is lower. Laura shares how she plans her marketing around her own cycle, why she tracks the days when she suddenly wants to "burn the business to the ground," and how she uses data and client feedback to remind herself that a temporary feeling doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong with her business. What You'll Learn: Why sustainable marketing isn't necessarily slow—it compounds over time. How Pinterest, email, and LinkedIn can create marketing momentum without requiring you to constantly be online. How to choose marketing platforms based on your actual business goals rather than feeling like you have to be everywhere.Ways to build an evergreen marketing strategy that supports your energy and cycle. Why tracking your cycle, emotions, and business data can help you avoid making major business decisions based on a temporary low-energy day.If you've ever thought, "I know I need to market my business, but I cannot keep creating content every single day," I think you're going to love this conversation. Sustainable marketing isn't about doing nothing. It's about doing work today that continues to support your business tomorrow and creating a business that can keep moving even when you need to slow down. About Laura: After leaving her career on cruise ships, Laura is now building The Writer's Harbour, her writing agency dedicated to helping women gain confidence in writing their stories. The Mid-Launch Crash: What Nobody Tells You

Have you ever started a launch feeling excited, motivated, and full of energy... only to hit a wall halfway through? In this episode of Work With Your Cycle, I'm unpacking why so many women entrepreneurs experience the dreaded mid-launch crash and why it doesn't mean you're bad at launching or not cut out for business. More often than not, it means your launch strategy isn't working with your body. I'm sharing four common mistakes that leave women feeling completely depleted during launches, along with practical ways to create a more sustainable launch plan. We talk about cycle syncing your launch, batching content during your highest-energy phases, scheduling your biggest visibility moments strategically, and making sure you have the support you need when your energy naturally shifts. Whether you're planning a masterclass, promoting a new offer, or preparing for your next launch, this episode will help you protect your energy without sacrificing your results. What You'll Learn: The four biggest reasons women experience a mid-launch energy crash. How to plan a cycle-synced launch that works with your body's natural energy. Why batching content and scheduling visibility strategically can prevent burnout. What to focus on during your lower-energy phases so your launch keeps moving without exhausting you.How planning, flexibility, and support can help you finish your launch feeling energized instead of depleted. If you've ever finished a launch thinking, "I never want to do that again," this episode is for you. My hope is that you'll leave with a new perspective: launches will always require energy, but they don't have to leave you completely drained. When you plan with your body instead of against it, you can finish strong AND actually enjoy doing it again. Build a Business That Fits Your Life with Chloé Midy

In this episode of Work With Your Cycle, I sit down with business coach Chloé Midy to talk about what it really takes to build a profitable business that supports your life instead of consuming it. After scaling her freelance business to consistent €5k+ months, Chloé realized that success didn't mean much if it came at the expense of her well-being. Together, we explore how simplifying your offers, refining your positioning, raising your prices, and aligning your business with your personal values can create both freedom and sustainable growth. One of my favorite themes throughout our conversation is the power of awareness. Whether we're talking about your marketing strategy, your pricing, your menstrual cycle, or your vision for your life, it all starts with paying attention. Chloé shares why trying to do more isn't always the answer, how to identify the right-fit clients, and why understanding your own seasons of business can help you grow without falling into burnout. If you've ever felt like you're building someone else's version of success, this episode will encourage you to define success for yourself and create a business that truly supports it. What You'll Learn: Why doing less can often lead to more sustainable business growth. How refining your offers, pricing, and positioning helps attract premium, aligned clients. Why self-awareness is the foundation for both cycle syncing and long-term business success. How to recognize your personal and business "seasons" so you can work more intentionally. Why building your business around your own definition of success leads to greater freedom and fulfillment. If this conversation inspired you, take a few minutes to reflect on what success genuinely looks like for you—not what social media, your industry, or someone else's business says it should be. The more you build a business around your own values, energy, and goals, the more sustainable your success will become. About Chloé: Chloé Midy is a business coach for established freelancers stuck below consistent €5k months. After scaling her own freelance business to €5k+ months, she's now spent over 3 years as a full-time digital nomad. She helps freelancers refine their offer, positioning and pricing so they can sign premium clients on repeat and build a business that serves their life (and not the other way around). Rest or Avoidance? How to Know the Difference

In this episode of Work With Your Cycle, I'm answering a question that came directly from one of our monthly audio coaching sessions inside the In Sync Community: How do I know if I'm truly resting or just avoiding the work? It's a question I think every woman entrepreneur has wrestled with at some point, especially when you're learning to work with your menstrual cycle instead of pushing through exhaustion. Rest and avoidance can look almost identical on the surface, but they lead to very different outcomes. In this episode, I walk you through five powerful questions that will help you distinguish between honoring your body's need for recovery and letting fear, perfectionism, or discomfort keep you stuck. If you've ever wondered whether you're using cycle syncing as a strategy or as an excuse, this conversation will help you build greater self-awareness, trust yourself more deeply, and create sustainable business momentum without burning out. What You'll Learn: The difference between intentional rest and avoidance disguised as self-care.Five questions to help you determine what your body truly needs. How to use your menstrual cycle as a strategic business tool without falling into an all-or-nothing mindset. Why awareness and self-trust are essential for preventing burnout and making confident decisions. How strategic rest can help you build more consistent momentum in your business. If this episode challenged you, I'd love to invite you into the In Sync Community, where conversations like this happen every month. You don't have to navigate entrepreneurship—or cycle syncing—alone. Sometimes the greatest breakthrough comes from having a safe place to pause, reflect, and move forward with intention. Let's chat!
