It's Totally Legal to Be Racist

Can Canadian employers give preference to job applicants based on race, sex or other protected characteristics? In this video, I look at preferential hiring, DEI and employment equity in Canada, including real Canadian government and private sector job postings that explicitly give hiring priority or preference to certain designated groups. We look at examples involving the Government of Canada, Canadian universities and private employers, including job postings where the work itself has no obvious connection to the group receiving preference.I also compare Canada's approach with the United States, where companies have faced legal challenges over race based fellowships and hiring programs. The bigger question is whether affirmative action and employment equity reduce discrimination, or whether considering race in hiring keeps racial categories embedded in decisions where many Canadians believe they shouldn't matter. We'll look at:• Race based and preferential hiring in Canada• Canadian government employment equity policies• DEI and affirmative action in Canadian workplaces• Real Canadian job postings giving preference to designated groups• Section 15 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms• Ontario's approach to special employment programs• How Canada differs from the United States• Canadian and American polling on considering race in hiring• The arguments for and against employment equityWhatever your position, the actual laws, job postings and polling are worth looking at before making up your mind.Sources discussed in the video include Government of Canada job postings, Canadian university employment policies, the Ontario Human Rights Commission, Pew Research Center, Gallup and Canadian polling.

Democrats Are The New Westboro Baptist Church

In this episode of The Think Report, Kris breaks down the transformation of liberals and Democrats from counterculture outsiders into what many now see as the new establishment. From political violence and ideological identity to censorship, activism, and culture wars, this video explores why so many people feel the modern left has lost its “cool factor” and become increasingly aggressive, moralizing, and authoritarian. We also examine:• The rise of ideological tribalism• Political violence and assassination attempts in U.S. history• Why ideology becomes personal identity• The similarities between activist movements and groups like the Westboro Baptist Church• Why modern politics increasingly feels performative• The decline of cultural cohesion in North America• Democrats vs Republicans in modern culture wars• Free speech, activism, and political polarizationWhether you agree or disagree, this episode asks an uncomfortable question:What happens when a political movement stops persuading people and starts punishing disagreement? If you enjoy political analysis, cultural commentary, debates about free speech, and long-form discussions about modern society, subscribe to The Think Report.#Politics #Democrats #Republicans #CultureWars #PoliticalCommentary #FreeSpeech #PoliticalViolence #WokeCulture #CancelCulture #Liberalism #Conservatism #TheThinkReport #USPolitics #CanadaPolitics #CultureShift #PoliticalDebate #IdentityPolitics #SocialCommentary00:00 Introduction03:15 There is no more culture06:31 The source of violence10:16 Westboro Baptist Church vs The Left13:40 Conclusion
