    Episode 298 How We Get Intimate Sensers! Do you ever sit and look at the future as a whole sometimes in your thoughts and wondering life will be? I look at the many differences in man and woman that have shifted over the last 40 years and as far as dating or forming effective relationships and it looks grim for some of us. I believe we’ve forgotten what was effective in attraction as well as certain skills for each gender to thrive as an efficient mate. Let me explain… Further thinking, I came to an understanding about the challenges I have inside my own mind when it comes the aspect of intimacy and closeness. Truly the closeness more than intimacy goes, it’s something I’ve known about myself whether I admitted it out loud or not. The self awareness is what keeps us grounded as humans and gives a map on what we can work on in improving ourselves. I believe quitting was something I had mastered from an early age, be a hard stage on super mario bros or learning the plays on the JV basketball team at Nansemond River High School growing up. I was rather fond of quitting when life didn’t come easy for me. However, I believe there’s also upside to learning when to give up on something.     Episode 296 How We Envy Sensers! How many of us have the courage to say that we envy something or someone? I don’t believe it has to be a negative connotation to the word itself, but maybe a mild form of admiration. I know have most certainly envied people and things throughout life and perhaps found healing through recognizing such in myself. I’d like to share that with you on this topic. Do you remember a time where you were afraid to make a mistake? Some of us are still living in that mindset, but what if you learned that it’s okay to make mistakes? I’ve put myself in some toxic situations regarding sex throughout my life. (What a way to start the topic, right?) It’s caused me to look back and see that sex was the only thing that was working for us. The compatibility we were hoping for was non-existent. One of my favorite quotes is “have the courage to be what you want to be”, I believe a great deal of us tend to conform to what others want us to be in order to fit in. I also believe that we can overcome the critique of our peers and live as we wish practicing unconditional love to one another. How does one stay true to themselves while being forced to fit into everyone’s idea of you in their mind? I’d say I spent the last few years improving my ability to communicate with others. Before that, it was pulling teeth to have a conversation with someone not through text. It took some work but I believe we can evolve when it comes to the capacity to create meaningful conversations with people. When you spend some of your life avoiding getting close to someone and then you run across a person that shifts your entire viewpoint on that and interesting enough, it scares the shit out of you. There was a time when we thought so low of ourselves and highly of others that we were desperate to keep them in our lives. What would we be without them? “Don’t abandon me!” Whether out loud or in our heads as we engaged with them for the time we spent together. Then one day, you realized that you’d be okay without them. Detach is the mission. It is said in the manosphere that you don’t become a man until a woman breaks your heart.
