    In this deeply personal episode of Entre Pasos, I share one of the biggest transitions of my life: leaving Costa Rica to start over in California for love, marriage, and an entirely new beginning. This episode goes beyond the beautiful moments and into the behind-the-scenes of what starting over truly feels like. The excitement, the grief, the uncertainty, and the transformation that happens in between. I open up about the emotional weight of building a life far away from everything familiar. Learning to live fully in another language, feeling out of place at times, struggling with identity, comparison, productivity, and carrying the ache of missing important moments with my family from a distance. Seasons where I questioned myself, felt stuck, and tried to hold gratitude and frustration at the same time. But in the middle of all of it, God was there. I share how this season slowly drew me closer to Him, and how He met me right in the middle of uncertainty, waiting, and internal battles. How He brought peace when I felt lost, purpose when I felt stuck, and reminded me that even the hardest seasons are not wasted. This episode is about transitions, surrender, faith, growth, and becoming. About realizing that sometimes the seasons that break us open are also the ones that shape us the most. And about learning that gratitude and grief can coexist, while God continues to guide us step by step through places we never imagined we could call home.     En este cuarto episodio de Entre Pasos, comparto uno de los momentos más transformadores de mi vida: dejar Costa Rica para empezar una vida nueva en California. Les abro el corazón para contarles cómo fue vivir una transición tan intensa. Llena de ilusión, pero también de dudas, miedos y desafíos reales. Desde una relación a distancia que avanzó rápido, hasta una mudanza que implicó soltarlo todo: mi país, mi idioma, mi familia y la versión de mí que conocía. Hablo de lo que no siempre se dice en voz alta: la soledad, el reto de encontrar tu voz en otro idioma, la comparación, la frustración de sentirte “estancada”, y esa dualidad de tenerlo todo… pero al mismo tiempo sentirte un poco perdida. También les comparto cómo, en medio de ese proceso, empecé a acercarme más a Dios, a cambiar mi perspectiva y a aprender que no siempre podemos controlar lo que pasa… pero sí cómo decidimos vivirlo. Desde mi infancia en Costa Rica, rodeada de naturaleza, familia y una mezcla de culturas, hasta mis años de colegio, universidad y los primeros pasos en mi vida adulta. Les hablo de creatividad, de decisiones que tomamos sin cuestionar, de relaciones, de búsquedas internas… y de cómo, poco a poco, fui tratando de entender quién soy y hacia dónde quería ir. También comparto mis primeros acercamientos a Dios, mis dudas, mis aprendizajes y cómo, mirando hacia atrás, puedo ver que cada etapa, incluso las más confusas, tenía un propósito. Este episodio es como abrir un álbum de recuerdos: una historia contada desde adentro, por alguien que todavía la está viviendo. Y al final… un momento inesperado que cambiaría mi vida para siempre, y que será el comienzo del próximo capítulo.

    Hola, soy Mariana, y les doy la bienvenida al primer episodio de Entre Pasos. Hoy quiero sentarme a compartir con ustedes el inicio de este proyecto que nace desde el corazón. Quiero contarles un poco sobre quién soy, de dónde viene este podcast y cómo he ido dando pasos en la vida, confiando en Dios, incluso cuando no siempre tengo todas las respuestas. Este espacio es para hablar de la vida de verdad: de los momentos que nos llenan de alegría, de los que nos desafían y de esos en los que nos sentimos inseguros o con miedo. Quiero que Entre Pasos sea un lugar cercano y seguro, donde podamos compartir historias, reflexiones y aprendizajes sin juicios, y donde cada uno pueda sentirse acompañado en su propio camino. Este podcast no busca tener todas las respuestas ni ser perfecto; nace para abrir conversaciones reales, dar compañía, inspirar y recordarnos que no estamos solos. Entre pasos, desde el medio del camino, caminamos juntos. Gracias de corazón por acompañarme en este primer episodio… apenas estamos empezando, y me alegra muchísimo que estén aquí.
