Well Beyond Breast Cancer

Well Beyond Breast Cancer

Breast cancer can change your body in ways no one fully prepares you for. Pain, tightness, fatigue, swelling, numbness, and mobility challenges can show up during treatment and persist long after, affecting how you move through your days, how you feel in your body, and how fully you’re able to live your life. Too often, people are left suffering in silence without real answers or a clear recovery plan, quietly wondering, "Is this my new normal?" This podcast was created to fill a gap so many survivors and previvors face when side effects are minimized, confusing, or dismissed. Here, you won’t just hear “it’s normal.” You’ll find honest conversations, expert guidance, and practical support to help you minimize side effects, feel more at home in your body, and take meaningful steps toward healing. Created by Well Beyond Breast Cancer, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to improving the quality of life of the breast cancer community by expanding access to Breast Cancer Rehabilitation through a Financial Assistance Program, educational initiatives, and advocacy efforts. Each episode features powerful stories from survivors and previvors, alongside expert guidance from oncologists, breast surgeons, and physical and occupational therapists specializing in Breast Cancer Rehabilitation. Because while side effects may be common, they do not have to become your “new normal.” Join us for conversations that can help you live well during, after, and beyond breast cancer.
