    In Episode 31 of the In Creation Podcast, Ryker and Alex sit down to talk through their goals for the upcoming deer season. Ryker shares that he isn’t focused on chasing inches of antler this year. His aim is to harvest a deer early, stay mentally locked‑in, and make sure every sit puts him “in the game.” He wants to set himself up for success on each hunt and walk away with confidence—no second‑guessing his spots, no frustration, just a good attitude and intentional preparation. Alex’s goals line up similarly. He wants to take a doe early to get that “red zone rep” before bucks start moving hard in late October and early November. Most of his energy is aimed at their northern Michigan deer camp. After heavy e‑scouting, his mission is simple: be in deer every sit and finally tag a northern Michigan buck. From there, the conversation shifts to the Gospel as they discuss Final Judgment. They emphasize that God ultimately judges one thing—whether you have put your faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. Acts 17:31 says, “For he has set a day for judging the world with justice by the man he has appointed, and he proved to everyone who this is by raising him from the dead.” They talk about how easy it is to assume we have plenty of time to make that decision, but the truth is we don’t know when our final day on earth will come. The debt has already been paid through the blood of Christ on the cross, and the invitation into His kingdom is open to anyone who believes.
